34 - Positive

One month passed

The vacation is over, and we are now planning to return to the Philippines. However, Faye said we need to stay for another two weeks since I need to finish the IVF process before we go back. We told our parents that Faye and I needed to stay. They agreed and asked them to manage the company while I was gone.

Faye on the other hand still does her meetings online and asks Appa to look out for the company while she's gone. They all agreed and now we drive them to the airport since today is the day they are coming back to the Philippines.

We bid them goodbye and I hugged all of them. Cy wants to stay but we told her that school is gonna start in two days and she needs to go to school. We told her that Grandpa and Grandma would take care of her while we were not there. She nodded and kissed us goodbye.

We waited for the plane to depart before we went to the hospital. The doctor starts with the process and Faye together with Tae. Kookie and I are just waiting for me outside after the process. The doctor called on the three and told us about the dos and don'ts. She also said to back after two weeks to see if the process is a success.

We thanked her and the four of us went back home to talk about the IVF process. They said they were excited about it. I told them I was the most excited of the four of us cos I want this. Faye smiled and kissed my head.

After some time, the two need to go cos Tae still needs to go to his restaurant while Kookie has a photoshoot later. They bid their goodbye and left. Faye led me to the room told me to rest and if I wanted to eat something.

I smiled cos I knew what was going on inside her head. She's already starting to be more careful and protective of me. I told her I just wanted to lay in bed with her if that was okay. She smiled and lay beside her. I asked her if she could sing me a song since I was sleepy and she did. She sang our theme song and I fell asleep smiling.

Two weeks pass and we are now waiting for the doctor since she still has a patient inside. Today is the day we are going to find out if the IVF is a success. I am currently praying that it was. Moments later the doctor called for us.

The doctor took some of my blood to test. We are waiting for the result. Tae and Kookie cannot come with us cos both of them are currently busy with work so we just told them that we'll inform them as soon as the results come out.

A few minutes pass by and the results are out. The doctor read the result but her face is not happy. I was about to cry cos based on the doctor's facial expression it didn't work. Then she gave the paper to Faye to read. Faye read it out loud and she said it was positive.

I cried so much and the doctor congratulated us. Faye engulfed me in a tight hug and gently patted my back. After a few minutes, I stop crying. The doctor told us that the first months are going to be delicate so I should avoid getting stressed and tired. I told the doctor that I would avoid those and she smiled.

The doctor said we don't need to come back to her and just take the vitamins that she gives. She also recommended the best doctor in the Philippines to take care of me. We thanked the doctor and we left. We went to Tae's restaurant to tell him about the news.
