09 - Comfortable with You

It's been an hour since I tried to sleep but I couldn't so I went out and went to the kitchen. I got a glass of water and went to the garden, sat on the sun lounger, and leaned back then I closed to enjoy the midnight breeze.

I was enjoying the feeling when someone put on a blanket. I opened my eyes and saw Faye. She sits beside me and asks me why I am still awake.

I can't sleep

'Why? Is there something bothering you?

Nothing. I just can't fall asleep. I tried everything but I'm still awake.

'Ahmmm. Come on inside it's getting chilly here. You might get sick. I'll read you something so you can sleep.

Okay.

Faye held my hand while we walked back inside. She lay me on the bed took a book on her shelf then sat beside me. I tap the side of the bed and ask her to lie down beside me. She smiles and lies down.

I took one of her arms and used it as a pillow. Faye starts reading while playing with my hair. Minutes later I can feel myself starting to feel sleepy. I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep.

I was not yet in a deep sleep when I felt that Faye was removing her arms. So, I held onto her and told her to sleep beside me cos it was comfortable. She said okay kissed my forehead and lull me to sleep. I hugged her waist and soon fell asleep again.

The next morning, when I woke up the first thing that I noticed is I was wrapped in a very tight hug. I slowly turned around and saw Faye sleeping peacefully. I touch her eyebrows, nose then her lips. She is gorgeous.

I felt like I was seeing a goddess. I was enjoying my view when she suddenly spoke. 'why are you watching me sleeping? ' I laughed and told her that she was so gorgeous.

She opened her eyes and told me I was the gorgeous one. I smiled and said I was not. She bit my nose and told me I was the most gorgeous person she had laid her eyes on.

I blushed at what she said and asked her how many women she had gotten with those flattering words. Her eyebrows scrunch and she looked at me as if she couldn't believe what I said.

I ask her why. She just shook her head and told me. I am the only woman except for her family and friends that she hugs and kisses. I couldn't believe what she said so I looked at him. She told me I was her first kiss and would also be the last.

I look at her and her if what she's saying is the truth. She smiled and nodded then told me that she had never felt this kind of feeling with anyone. I am the only woman who made her heart skip a beat.

My heart melted and I cried because of what she said. She immediately wiped away my tears and asked me to stop cos she doesn't like it when I cry. I just hugged her tightly and buried my face on her neck.
