"Are you insane?" Yiyi asks me for the tenth time. I'm trying to pull off the ultimate heist. Well, not really. I'm getting sick of Richard calling my phone non-stop. After last night, I figured Skylar owed me one. I let him do some unspeakable things to me, things one would only read in books.

"Not insane, but I'm removing myself from the narrative." Yes, I got to live out the best sexual fantasy one smut reader could ever dream of, and now I don't want any parts of it.

"You can't invite the ex to meet the new man you're fucking. It's bound to cause problems."

"One, he is not my new man, and two, he is why Richard keeps calling me. Richard had called me more times in the last week than he had when we were together for an entire year. Skylar is going to fix it."

"And what makes you think he will."

"I did anal with him, so he owes me."

"Wait, what?" I can hear the smile on her face. "You, Miss I'll never let a man fuck me in the ass. Let someone fuck you in the ass."

"I hate you." I put the phone on speaker and continue to tidy up my living room. "A lot of things happened. So, like I said, he owes me."

"You know what would really be a lot—"

"I don't care." I know something foul is about to come out of her mouth. Yiyi isn't what you would expect coming from a Korean woman. She isn't that shy, cutest, blush at the word sex kind of woman. In all the Asian dramas I watched in college, I thought the woman was like that. Ha! Not Yiyi. She has the mouth of a sailor, she talks about sex more than the average man, and she loves to show skin. Her motto is the more, the better.

"Here me out."

"Later, Yiyi. I will call you once everyone goes home."

"If they go home."

I end the call. With an hour left to spare before both men arrive, I shower quickly and then get dressed. I have a pantsuit in my closet that I haven't worn yet, but it screams, I mean, business. That's the exact look I'm going for tonight.

Richard sounded so excited when I told him I was having Skylar come over to talk to him. I shouldn't have done it without talking to Skylar first, but I'm sure he won't be too mad. If he does get upset, I will have to remind him he is the reason I'm caught in the middle.

I'm lounging in my living room when bright lights shine through the windows. Pulling the curtains aside, I move to the window, and a white BMW pulls into my driveway. I wait until the engine cuts off and Richard exits the car. Of course, he upgraded his car.

I move to the front door, opening it before he can knock.

"Old habits die hard," I say as I realize what exactly I just did.

"It's a good habit to have." He smiles, and I mentally roll my eyes. "Is your friend here?"

I ignore how he says friend and step aside, letting him in the house. As Richard walks by, I get a whiff of sage, sandalwood, and a hint of citrus. Oh, the memories.

"You can have a seat in the living room." Clearing my throat, I close the door. "Would you like something to drink?"

"So, your friend isn't here?"

"Richard, my personal life has nothing to do with you. Now, if you want to know if Mr. Styrke will arrive soon, then yes. Remember that little friend is someone you want to invest in your company."

He chuckles, walking into the living room. Such a smug bastard. He probably thinks that Skylar is going to invest in his company. I don't know two shits about his company because I never once looked at anything pertaining to his company. Skylar never sent anything over to me.
