As Kuroo sat in the backseat of the car, Sana glanced at him from the other side, tapping her nails against her phone screen. "So, how do you feel about this being the last date?" she asked, her voice casual yet probing. "After this, you'll just have to announce the breakup, and it's all over."

Kuroo leaned back, crossing his arms and putting on a relaxed facade. "Yeah, it's what we planned, right? Time to move on," he said, but there was an unfamiliar weight in his chest. Something about it didn't sit right with him. He shifted in his seat, trying to ignore the feeling that he didn't want it to end just yet.

Sana raised an eyebrow, noticing the hesitation, but didn't push. Instead, Kuroo quickly steered the conversation away. "Why are we going to such a cliché date spot anyway? An aquarium? Really?"

Sana smirked, scrolling through her phone. "It's not about where you're going; it's about who's watching. This cliché place will have more paparazzi. They're already tipped off, so we're bound to get the pictures we need."

Kuroo sighed, looking out the window. "Right. Paparazzi," he muttered, feeling a knot tighten in his stomach. The whole fake dating thing had felt easier when they weren't constantly surrounded by cameras. He wondered if Kenma was feeling the same way. But before he could dwell on it, the car slowed down as they approached the company.

Sana opened the door, stepping out. Before she closed it, she looked back at Kuroo. "Just have fun tonight, okay? Forget about the paparazzi for once." She smiled, then disappeared into the building, leaving Kuroo alone with his thoughts as the driver took off toward Kenma's office.

After a few minutes, Kuroo picked up his phone and dialed Kenma's number. It rang twice before Kenma answered.

"I'm outside," Kuroo said simply, leaning forward to glance at the building's entrance.

"I'll be out in a second," Kenma replied, his usual calm tone making Kuroo feel a little more grounded.

Soon, Kenma emerged from the glass doors, walking toward the car. He slid into the seat next to Kuroo, his expression neutral, but there was something in the air between them—something different from before.

"Hey," Kuroo greeted, turning to Kenma. "You ready for this... aquarium date?"

Kenma shrugged, buckling his seatbelt. "I guess. It's just fish, right?"

Kuroo chuckled. "Yeah, but it's supposed to be romantic or something. Sana picked it, and apparently, we're supposed to look like we're having the time of our lives."

Kenma smirked slightly. "I didn't realize fish could make someone that happy."

"Neither did I," Kuroo said, a teasing tone in his voice. He glanced over at Kenma, studying his expression. "How've you been? We haven't really talked in a while."

Kenma looked out the window, avoiding Kuroo's gaze. "Busy, I guess. Work's been piling up."

"Yeah, same here." Kuroo paused, unsure how to steer the conversation. There was a weird tension—almost like they both knew this was the last time they'd do this, but neither of them was ready to acknowledge it. "But hey, at least we're almost done, right?"

Kenma gave a small nod but didn't say anything.

The rest of the drive was filled with comfortable silence until they finally arrived at the aquarium. As they stepped out of the car, Kuroo held the door for Kenma, who gave him a quick, appreciative glance before they headed toward the entrance.

The aquarium's soft lighting and tranquil atmosphere felt worlds away from the chaos of the outside world. Kuroo paid for the tickets, and they walked in side by side, moving past tanks filled with vibrant sea creatures. The occasional flash from distant cameras reminded them why they were there, but for a brief moment, it felt like they were just two people on a normal date.
