As Kuroo entered his house, he tossed his keys onto the table and walked over to where his younger brother, Hanzo, sat at the dining table, intensely focused on his homework."How was school, bud?" Kuroo asked, ruffling Hanzo's hair affectionately as he leaned against the back of the chair. He shrugged off his blazer and tossed it onto the couch.
"It was good," Hanzo replied, glancing up with a nonchalant shrug. "Nothing amazing happened."
Kuroo grinned, noticing the slight disappointment in his brother's tone. "Oh, Hanzo, get packed up for this weekend."
Hanzo looked up, curious. "Why? Where are we going?"
"Hong Kong," Kuroo announced, a wide smile spreading across his face. "We're going to watch Nekoma's game! Kenma gave me two tickets."
Hanzo's eyes widened in disbelief. "What?! Are you serious?"
"Yeah! So make sure you're ready. We leave Saturday morning."
Hanzo jumped up from his chair, bouncing on his feet with excitement. "This is so cool! I can't wait to see them play! Are we sitting close?"
Kuroo chuckled at his brother's enthusiasm. "Yeah, we should have a pretty good view. Just make sure you don't forget your Nekoma jersey!"
As Hanzo rushed off to gather his things, Kuroo took a moment to bask in the joy of the moment. Just as he was about to head to his room, he decided to drop another piece of news. "Oh, by the way, me and Kenma are dating for real now. No more PR."
There was a pause before Hanzo's voice rang out, incredulous. "What?! Kuroo, are you okay today? Am I dreaming?"
"It's all true, don't worry! You'll get used to it soon!" Kuroo shouted back, retreating to his bedroom with a laugh.
He closed the door behind him and leaned against it, letting out a contented sigh. The whirlwind of the past few weeks-the fake dating, the awkward moments, and the eventual confession-had led him to this point, and he couldn't be happier.
Moments later, he heard a soft knock on his door. "Kuroo! Are you really dating Kenma now?" Hanzo asked, excitement lacing his voice.
"Yep, and it's the real deal this time," Kuroo replied, opening the door a crack to peek at his brother's eager expression. "We talked it over, and it just... felt right. I really like him."
Hanzo's face broke into a huge grin. "That's awesome! I can't believe my brother is dating Kodzuken! Can I tell my friends?"
Kuroo laughed. "Don't mention anything to do with PR. We want to keep this private until we figure things out."
Hanzo nodded vigorously. "Okay! But you have to tell me everything later. I want all the details!"
"Deal," Kuroo said, ruffling Hanzo's hair again. "Now go finish packing! We have an exciting weekend ahead of us."
As Hanzo dashed off, Kuroo settled onto his bed, pulling out his phone. He couldn't help but smile as he thought about Kenma. Things were changing, but they were changing for the better. With the weekend approaching, he felt a rush of anticipation, not just for the game but for every moment he would get to spend with Kenma, now that they were truly together.
Kuroo pulled out his phone, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he opened his messages and started typing.
Kuroo: "Hanzo's excited about Hong Kong. He's packing already."
A moment later, Kenma's response came in.
Kenma: "Lol, that's cute. I'll show him the tour bus and everything when we get there."
Kuroo chuckled, imagining Hanzo's wide-eyed excitement at meeting Kenma's team.
Kuroo: "He's gonna lose his mind. He's a huge Nekoma fan."
Kenma: "Well, I'll make sure he has a good time. He'll probably like meeting Yaku too. He's good with kids."
Kuroo: "Yaku? Good with kids? After that aggressive game we had at your place I wouldn't have thought.
Kenma replied with a simple laughing emoji before Kuroo sent another text.
Kuroo: "Anyway, you ready for the game? The big match, you know."
Kenma: "Yeah, as ready as I'll ever be. We've practised a lot, and the team's in good shape."
Kuroo: "I'll be there cheering you on. Hanzo too, of course."
Kenma: "Thanks. It'll be nice to know you guys are watching."
Kuroo: "You'll do great, I know it."
Kenma: "Thanks, Kuroo."
Kuroo: " You rest up, See you soon."
Kenma: "You too"
Kuroo locked his phone, shaking his head with a soft chuckle, already looking forward to seeing Kenma again.
