Author's Note:
Well howdy! I am incredibly sorry for such a long delay in posting, I was doing so good only going a few days in between.
But as you'll see I've labeled this a double chapter because it's just shy of 10,000 words. I just couldn't break it up into 2 parts. I don't think I'll do anymore that are so long, but I hope the length makes up for how long it took to write. Also:
*Trigger Warning* This chapter contains some violence and the implication of possible SA. Please keep this in mind while reading, or if you need to skip this one all the respect.
I hope y'all enjoy it! And thank you so much for over 1,000 reads. I really can't believe it, thanks again! I'll see y'all down at the end :)

6. Conflict
—————————————————————————
Quinn woke up rather abruptly to her alarms going off. Usually she would wake up to herself reaching to snooze them, but this time she woke up as she sat up, surprised by how dark her room had gotten in the last few hours. Quinn rubbed her eyes and squinted as she looked around for her phone. She found it under her pillow and closed her eyes momentarily from the bright light of her lock screen. Once the alarm was off Quinn slid off her bed and made her way to the bathroom. She closed her eyes as she turned on the bathroom light and opened them slowly after a second to help adjust to the new brightness.
Quinn had woke up at 8:15 to her second alarm so she was still in good shape for timing. After she finished in the bathroom she started turning the other lights on in her apartment. Quinn made her way to her closet and decided to pull an outfit out for herself before heading to the kitchen to eat something. Based off what Paige had said, and what she had seen online, Quinn opted for a pair of tapered cargo pants, a white muscle tank, a cropped slightly oversized black button up, and a pair of white sneakers she had. It was a simple enough outfit, but it still felt more put together than what Quinn normally wore, which seemed to perfectly fit what Paige had described.
Quinn laid her clothes out on her bed and went to her kitchen to figure out what to eat. With minimal available since she hadn't done much shopping yet she opted for making herself a sandwich. She ate it at the counter as she scrolled on her phone looking up rules for games like beer pong, as if almost studying for the party. Quinn really had minimal idea what tonight would be like, but she was content letting the basketball team take lead and just following them. After she's ate she got dressed. She decided to loosely tuck in the muscle tank to her pants so it didn't go down past the button up shirt. The button up wasn't too cropped, just enough so it ended just above the waistband for her pants.
Quinn looked herself over in the mirror a few times before she decided her outfit looked as good as it was going to get. She checked the time and it was just after 9pm, so Quinn decided now was a good a time as any to head upstairs. She fixed her hair a little and grabbed her wallet, keys, and phone. Quinn turned off most of her apartment lights except for the one in the main living area just so she had a way to see when she came back, and then she was out the door. As she was locking her door she debated sending Paige a text but figured she would probably be at their door before she saw it.
Quinn made her way to the elevators and up to the 3rd floor. After the short ride she made her way down the hallway to Paige, Nika, and Ice's apartment. Quinn knocked on the door and waited a second.
"It's open" Paige yelled inside. Quinn opened the door and wasn't surprised to find KK and Paige already dressed and already playing Fortnite. There was music playing from the hallway and Quinn could hear other voices. She assumed more of the other girls were down the hall getting ready, her instinct was to go and see who, hoping Nika would be in the mix.
