Alice Pov
When we came out of the court, three police officers escorted me to the vehicle that was supposed to take me to the PC jail, which was parked right at the entrance. However, they said it couldn't be done because there were too many media waiting, so they took me to the parking lot instead.
After a few minutes of waiting, the police car finally arrived. Just as I was about to get in, a white vehicle suddenly sped in, and seven men emerged from it. They then proceeded to attack the three police officers who were with me.
The four men were caught in a fierce and chaotic struggle with the three police officers, each side determined to gain the upper hand. The sound of fists hitting flesh and shouts filled the air, creating a scene of utter turmoil.
In the midst of this chaos, the other three men turned their attention to me, forcefully shoving me toward the open van door. I felt a surge of panic as I realized I had no strength left to fight back, they were far too strong, and I was completely drained from the adrenaline and fear. As they pushed me inside, I couldn't help but think that whatever fate awaited me, it might be better to simply vanish from this world than to endure six long years in prison.
When they saw that the police officers were already lying on the ground, they quickly jumped into the vehicle and sped away.
The interior was dimly lit, and I found myself facing my captors-seven men whose faces were obscured by shadows but whose intentions were all too clear. My heart raced as I took in their expressions, a mix of determination and something darker that sent chills down my spine.
I was trapped, wedged between the cold metal of the van and the men who had taken me. Panic clawed at my throat as I tried to steady my breathing. I had to think, I couldn't let fear take control. "Where are you taking me?" I demanded, trying to sound braver than I felt. My voice trembled slightly, betraying the fear that coursed through me. The men exchanged glances, their smirks sending a wave of dread crashing over me.
"Just relax, Alice," one of them said, his voice dripping with mockery. "You'll find out soon enough."
I swallowed hard, my mind racing. I glanced out the small window, watching the familiar streets flash by. My heart sank as I recognized the neighborhood-this was where I had grown up.
Bamban...
The van took a sharp turn, and I braced myself against the wall, my thoughts spiraling. They were bringing me back to a place filled with memories, a place I had fought for and given all my loyalty.
It feels nostalgic being here again, I'm missing it so much.
As we approached a warehouse, a wave of dread washed over me. This was the very spot where Mr. Duterte brought me when he offered me for work to be his personal assistant.
The van came to a stop, and the men exchanged glances again, their eyes glinting with something I couldn't decipher. "Get out," the leader ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument. I hesitated, my heart pounding in my chest.
"What do you want from me?" I asked, trying to buy myself some time. "Why did you bring me here?" I saw the man sighed heavily in annoyance.
"Just shut up and do as you're told, will you?!" he snapped, and I felt a rough hand grip my arm, pulling me toward the door. I took a deep breath, trying to quell the rising panic. As the door swung open, I saw a lot of chinese workers who were busy clicking their prospective computer. I was hit with a wave of worries and fear.
