Bottom- Lance

Third Person POV

It was a lovely late evening, a bit chilly, with the light of the moon glistening in, shining upon the lines of the blue chlorinated
pool. Lance sat, legs half submerged, making said lines with the swaying of his feet. it was calm, peaceful, and content
Lance always enjoyed the pool after hours. The cool feeling of the water that gave him goosebumps, the faint smell of chlorine, the dim glow of the pool lights, and the feeling of water washing over
him with his own movements. he came here, periodically, to indulge in this peace and calm away from chaos and bustle of ordinary modern life. It was his place to stop and breathe when the world around him was choking.

He let out a sigh before he slipped in, his body hugged by the water that gradually warmed with exposure. his arms waded through with each stroke, repeating slow laps, getting faster with his effort. There was no sound but the splashes he made, nothing but him. He practised his laps over and over, taking breaks when he needed them. But little did he know that just on the other side of the wall was a certain someone skulking around. Lotor, the schools senior bad boy, was known for getting into all sorts of trouble and bullying. Which Lance had unfortunately experienced. He was also trying to get into the school after hours but by breaking in, unlike Lance, who had permission. But again, Lance was not aware of his presence. Until he heard the distinct thud of the pool entrance door slamming shut. They were the thick, heavy kind that most school had, and the sound echoed through the quiet of the room. Lance was alert as he stopped halfway out of the pool. The sound of shoes squeaked against the wet tile floor, and Lance stared towards the lockers. His heart pounded in his chest, so much he thought he might hear it. And then emerged Lotor, the dim light shining against his long silver hair and soft skin, He put his hand to his hip, and a smirk curled at his lips as he stared right back a Lance.

"My, my, what do we have here?" He coed in a low, teasing voice
Lance stepped up the remaining steps and stormed over to him, well as much as he could with his feet feet on slippery tiles.
Lotor watched him approach, his smirk unwavering and confident,
"McClain," he greeted with a mocking tone.

"What are you doing here?" Lance snapped.

"You know, passing through," he spoke calmly, irritating Lance further. "What are you doing here?"

"Training, like I always do," Lance stated. "Unlike you, you're not supposed to be here?".

"Says who? You?" He smirked.

"I- no, the headmaster, I'm allowed to be here." Lance didn't back down.

"Is that so?" Lotor kept his cold smirk.

"Yes, it is." Lance crossed his arms, unaware of the thought that entered Lotor's mind.

"Oh well, shouldn't you get back to it?" he placed one hand on Lance's chest and pushed him into the water.

Lotor caught a glimpse of Lance's surprised reaction before it was followed by a huge splash and Lotor's laughter. The push was innocent enough, just a joke, a light shove into the pool. But Lance had hit the back of his ankle on the edge as he was pushed and was not coming back up. Lotor's laughter stopped.

"Lance?" He looked. "Oh shit-" he threw off his shirt and dove in.
Lotor hadn't been paying attention, but they were at the deep end of the pool, Lance couldn't touch the floor to keep himself up.

Fortunately, he was close enough to the edge that Lotor just had
to grab him by the hips and get him up out of the water and onto the pools ledge. He did so, bringing up a coughing and spluttering Lance. He didn't know what to do, CPR? Talk to him? He didn't know what. He just stayed there in the
pool, watching Lance furiously rub at his face as he coughed up some water. His eyes stung, and his mouth and throat burned with
the taste of chlorine. He was furious yet terrified.
