Hunk- Top
Lance- Bottom

Third Person POV

Everyone was exhausted from training and working, but finally, they seemed to get a break. There hadn't been as many planets in jeopardy as of late, thanks to the help of the Blade of Marmora and other freedom fighters. They had some downtime, and Allura announced they could take a shopping break to the space mall. Everyone cheered and raced to get there.

Keith was here on a break, and was interested in joining. This was a surprise to everyone. Of course, Lance teased him mercilessly about him loving all of them. Everyone chuckled, but Hunk who just watched, a little uneasy.

Lance was his best friend, ever since the garrison the two had clicked. But over time, out here in space, he couldn't help the feelings that grew to be more. Was he lonely? Sure, all of them missed home, but he knew it was more than that. He had been holding it in for a while now but had finally gotten the courage to confess that was until Keith dropped by. Him and Lance were all over each other, and he couldn't help but feel insecure, especially considering his friends crush on Keith way back when.

He sighed to himself before an arm was quickly hooked around his own. He looked down and was glad to see the familiar green sleeve belonging to his fond friend. He looked up and smiled at the grin on Lance's face.

"Pair up with me for the mall?" Gosh, he was cute, was all Hunk could think.

"Of course, where to?" Hunk was so pleased, Lance chose him.

He explained on the way he wanted to actually enjoy the food after hearing Hunks story from before about being a chef there. Hunks heart skipped a beat, Lance was so considerate, and he always listened, truly listened. He nodded in agreement, and they all arrived. Once again, refusing to wear Corans ridiculous disguises.

Everyone split up once they got there, each ensuring they had enough gak to make their purchases. Hunk and Lance gabbed as they found their way to the food court. This time, they actually paid, the two of them selecting a bundle of small starters and sides to munch on.

"I can't believe Keith is here. That guy seemed like he could never take a break," Lance mentioned.

"Ah yeah, he trains a lot." Hunk nodded.

"Training is not required when you have natural talent like me," Lance boasted with a smirk.

"Yeah, yeah, mr sharpshooter" Hunk chuckled.

"It's kinda odd, though. He's taller and more grizzled," he stated.

"Grizzled?" Hunk raised a brow.

"Yeah, man, fit, he's just gotten bigger, it can't just be me," Lance chuckled.

"Ah yeah, I suppose," Hunk frowned a bit.

He knew they had to be in good shape for saving and protecting the univers, and everyone seemed to have it except him. He had trouble losing weight as long as he could remember. He was happy where he was, but it didn't make the grilling he got for it back in the garrison any less unpleasant.

"Not as fit as Shiro though, that man is huge," Lance commented.

Hunk had never thought about it much until he heard it. But Lance was right. They were up in space with a limited number of people, and there Shiro and Keith were, two attractive and fit guys. They matched the type he'd seen Lanfmce like before. It made Hunk a little unsure if Lance would like him or if he had feelings for Keith again.

"I don't know how he does it, course I got me some mean muscle too," he flexed.

Hunk chuckled as he watched his friend and spoke. They finished up all their little bites and decided to walk around together. They visited and looked at a couple of stalls and stores. Hunk was having a great time. They reminisced about back home, the garrison, and the holidays. Lance spoke about his family quite frequently but never in front of the group. Hunk felt privileged to hear his stories and stopped them when they were in a quieter part of the mall.
