Vivian choked as she was suspended mid-air by Merlin via magic. "Vivian, tell me where Princess Elizabeth is." Merlin demands. "She's in the king's room." Vivian chokes out. "There you go." Merlin turns to them with her hands on her hips. Vivian falls onto the ground. The mage in red got up and ran away. "Hey, she's running off. Shouldn't we..." Arthur points out. "Forget her. For right now, we need to focus on rescuing Elizabeth." Meliodas tells him. Seraphina stared at Merlin, speechless. It had been five long years since she had seen the woman.
Sure, she forgot everything about her due to a head injury, but she had gotten her memory back, and now there she was, Merlin. Seraphina took a step toward, getting the mage's attention. "Hmm?" Merlin looks over at the white-haired girl. "Merlin." Seraphina rushes to the mage's side and hugs her. "I've missed you." Merlin smiles and wraps an arm around Seraphina. "I'm glad you're safe. I always wondered what happened to you." "Meliodas found me in the forest and took me in." Seraphina turns to look at the blonde.
"Wait, you two know each other?" King Arthur asks, confused. "Yes! Merlin was my caretaker for a while after..." Seraphina trails off with a frown. "Let's get back to the task at hand." Merlin snaps her fingers, and they're transported outside a door. "Where are we?" Meliodas asks. "We're in front of my father's room." Margaret replies. "I tried teleporting us inside, but got deflected. The handiwork of my disgraceful ex-disciple." Merlin explains. "All right. Take a few steps back, guys." Meliodas walks up to the door, rolling his shoulder.
"Wait. Hang on a second, Captain." Merlin stops him. "Even with your powers, you couldn't breach this barrier. It's the Perfect Cube. A spell from the Demon world that can deflect any power. Regardless of its magnitude." She explains. Gilthunder's hand crackles with electricity, and he tries to touch the door handle, but nothing happens. "So how do we get rid of it?" Seraphina asks, tilting her head to the side. Merlin walks over to the door and opens it easily.
"How'd you get rid of the spell like that?" Meliodas asks her. "Using Absolute Cancel. I cut off my disciple and the spell cast over this room." Merlin explains. "Oh, wow." Seraphina says in amazement. Meliodas spots Elizabeth standing near a bed and walks into the room with his hands in his pockets. "Yo!" Elizabeth runs over to him and throws herself into his arms. "We've only been apart for less than a day, but I missed you so much I could hardly stand it!" Meliodas chuckles. "There, there."
The king clears his throat, drawing attention to himself. "You sure got old, Bartra." Meliodas greets the king. "And you haven't changed a single bit." Bartra tells him. Seraphina walks into the room, looking at the prince. "King Bartra. It is nice to meet you again." She greets the king with a curtsey. "Mm? Princess Seraphina? You haven't changed a single bit." Bartra tells Seraphina, remembering the last time they met. "Yes! It's been what? Over sixteen years?" The white-haired girl asks him.
"Sixteen years and you still look eighteen." Bartra tells her. "Yeah. Pretty amazing." Meliodas says, groping the girl's behind. Seraphina freezes and blushes. "Enough!" Bartra shouts at the blonde. The sound of armor causes everyone to turn and see one of the culprits. "Dreyfus." Gilthunder says softly. "Hey, what's up. It's been a while since I've seen you, too, Dreyfus." Meliodas greets the Grandmaster. "What the hell is going on here?" Dreyfus asks, ignoring the blonde's greeting. "Hendrickson's been killed in battle." Gilthunder informs him. "He died without ever repenting for the crime he committed."
Dreyfus stares at the knight with wide eyes. "His crime..." "I saw it happen." Margaret speaks up with teary eyes. "The dawn of the anniversary festival ten years ago. You and Hendrickson conspired and murdered Zaratras. Such an unspeakable sight." Dreyfus stares at them in absolute shock. "And then, consumed with overwhelming fear, I told Gil about it. Little did I know, Vivian was eavesdropping the entire time. She placed each of us under guard. We were forced to do her bidding." Margaret explains.
