Angel tugs on my hand to drag me around the mall with her. She wanted to buy a pair of crocs for our school trip this weekend. I wasn't sure I wanted to go but she convinced me it would be fun.

I'm new to the school. I'm still adjusting but with Angel I'm comfortable.

She said the girl I met the other day at school, Kelly, the principals daughter would be there. Think she's the one buying the crocs for her.

Angel told me a lot about her, the way she spoke anyone would think Kelly was her big sister. They have so many memories together that Angel has shown me.

I saw Kelly on television with her family. I remember my brother making fun of me, saying I look exactly like her.

Because you do.

And it's weird.

Angel pointed it out too.

It's just a coincidence.

I pinched my bottom lip as I followed behind Angel to the crocs store part of the mall. She looked around curiously at the people inside the store before she turned to look at me.

Her eyebrows raised, "you good?".

"Yeah, why yuh ask?".

"I don't know, you look a little out of it".

I wave her off, "I'm good, what time your friend getting here?".

She checks her phone, "uhmm, she says she just drove in".

"Oh okay, well gwaan look if yuh see anything yuh like".

She tugs me by my arm, "come help mi choose nuh".

We went through a few of the crocs until she settled on a pink pair that had a few cute random accessories on it.

"This is really cute", I tell her with a smile.

She gasps, "I know, I love it".

As she's studying them I spot her friend walking in, she's by herself wearing a mint green scrub. She scans the room carefully until her eyes met mine, she walks in our direction and I nudge Angel to get her attention.

"Hmmm?".

"Your friend is here".

"Oh, yaay".

The closer she got the more I could see my own reflection. The only thing different was our hairstyle. She had on a long blonde wig with bangs in the front, and her outfit was way different.

Angel said that she's a physiotherapist.

She's actually very pretty, and she shape good too.

Damn good.

Kelly stops front of us and gives Angel a quick hug, "hi, sorry mi late mi did affi cover a shift at the spa".
