"Did you you use protection?", Mommy asks me, staring at me from the screen of my phone.

"No", good thing was, I didn't feel embarrassed talking to her about it.

We went out with Milando's teammates last night, they dropped us back here early this morning. Because of that Benji was dozed off in my bed, wrapped from head to toe.

The guys spent most of the dinner talking to him.

When I thought about what happened with Milando, I wanted to quit like I've been threatening to do since day one, but to see my brother welcomed by a team of professional players made me rethink my decision.

Albert promised Benji would be taken care of. That's a huge opportunity for him, the least I could do is help Milando get back onto the field.

Benji begged me to give it another shot and I agreed, only because he begged me.

Everybody a beg fi do sumn fi dem when mi naah beg dem nutn.

"Did you get a pill?", Mommy asks with a tone of urgency.

"Benji bought one".

"This is why I didn't want you staying up there Keleisi, I knew something like this was going to happen".

Here she goes with the worrying.

"It's okay Mommy, I can handle it".

"That's what you said before yuh end up in his bed, that wasn't very handle it of you now was it?".

My goodness Misha.

"Mommy". I already felt embarrassed.

"I know, I'm sorry", her eyes soften, "I worry about you Kels, that's all".

"I know".

She shook her head to dismiss our conversation.

"Did you find the dress you'll be wearing tomorrow?".

"Yeah, Benji will collect it later and take it here, I'll get dressed here and then he's picking me up, since Nichole's house is close by she'll spend the night with me tonight and tomorrow to do my hair".

"Oh good, you need money for anything?".

"Naah, everything is ready".

"Okay babe".

I see her eyes focus on her screen, her face falters then she starts laughing.

"What happened?".

"Nothing serious, Benji being Benji".

"Oh".

I scrolled on my iPad with its pen, checking Milando's schedule for next week. My entire life has to be calculated by his.

"Kels let me call you back".

"Sure".

I placed my phone down to focus on the schedule. My feet were propped up on the chair I was seated on inside the gym. I told Milando to meet me at 10, we came back in the morning, for that I let him get sleep in.

That seemed fair.

My phone pinged twice, I picked it up look at who it was. I hoped it was Albert with good news, he said he would be talking to the sponsors about Milando and Sanchez.

I still couldn't believe it, but the show must always go on.

Ryder referred to Sanchez as an understudy.
