The team decided to take a break rehearsing their dance, so right now Norah is just sitting in the small food court doing some homework. Francine walks in and buys a bag of chips for herself from the vending machine.
When she turned around her eyes immediately land on Norah.
"Hi, Norah, what are you doing?"
'I feel kind of bad for Norah, I mean, she doesn't really know anyone here and she's so nice. Except, she seems to be getting along with Westly so that's cool. Maybe I can be her new friend?'
Norah looked up from her homework and smiled.
"Hello," Francine sat across from her and opens her bag of chips.
"Do you want one?"
"No thank you, I don't really like crisps," she says shaking her head.
Francine raised an eyebrow, "Oh, why?"
'Who doesn't like crisps?' Francine questions with wide eyes.
A nervous smile appears on the girl's face, "Uh, well when I was younger, I almost choked on one."
Francine sits back in her chair and nods.
'It was scary, but maybe one day, I'll be able to eat them again.' Norah smiled, she hopes that God will heal her from that trauma.
"Since we were given a break, I decided to do my homework."
"Cool, what subject?"
"I'm currently working on English."
"Hey, ladies!" They turned their heads to see Jeremy sit down in the chair beside Francine.
"Hi, Jeremy, where's Samson?" Francine asked him.
Jeremy shrugged, "I don't know." He says as he reaches his hand in her bag of chips and takes one for himself, "So, what're you talking about?"
"Homework."
Jeremy finishes chewing his chip and swallowed, "Sounds boring."
Francine rolled her eyes and asks, "Did you want to talk about something, Jeremy." He shook his head and stood up, "No, just wanted to say 'hi' so hi! And thank you for the chip, Franny." He said and walked away.
The two girls looked back at each other and burst out in laughter.
"He's an interesting one." Norah says still giggling.
Francine nodded in agreement.

Today's rehearsal is finished and it's now time to go home. Norah got off the city bus and walked to the apartment building that she's staying in with her mom.
'Today's rehearsal was so much fun and I think I made a possible new friend, also Jeremy's a pretty interesting character, he reminds me of a skater boy with his shaggy hair and lazy smile,'
"Mom! I'm home!" She shouts when she entered the apartment.
"Mom?"
"I'm in the kitchen area, dear!"
Norah turns her head to see her mother around the kitchen and dining room, "What are you doing?" The kitchen, dining room, and living room are all open space so Norah could see her mother in the kitchen from the front door.
"We're going to have some special guests come over."
Norah eyes lit up, "Who?" She wondered who it can be, they haven't been in New York that long.
