Samson apparently sprained his ankle trying a new dance he came up with, now he has a sprain bracelet on and is lying in the hospital bed reading his bible.
The boy feels horrible for missing rehearsals yesterday.
And they have a competition to go in three months. He hopes he'll be able to dance once his ankle gets better, he prayed to God that he'll heal his ankle quickly, so he can get back to dancing with his friends.
Samson smiles, closes his bible, then closed his eyes and prayed.
Once he opened them, he turned his head look out the window. His aunt told him that today was supposed to be a pretty nice day, too bad he won't be able actually go out and enjoy said day.
The sky is bright blue with a few clouds.
He sighed.
"I wonder how Jeremy's doing with his captain audition?"

Last night the ginger boy sent him a text letting him know that he'll visit him.
The doctor told his aunt and him that he can go home after a week.
But he has to wear the sprain brace for at least a few weeks.
He can't dance for a while, and that saddens him.
"What's the sour look for?" Samson snapped his head up and saw his best friend and new friend standing at the door, Norah held a box of chocolates in her hand and a card was attached to them. While Jeremy had a bunch of balloons in his.
Samson's eyes widened as he stared at them.
Jeremy chuckled. "Why are you staring at us like that? I said I was going to visit you," him and Norah walked to him and the girl set the chocolates on the side bed table.
"Oh, the balloons were Norah's idea, and the chocolates were both of our idea." Jeremy put the balloons down on the other side.
"Hi, Samson, how're you doing?" Norah asked smiling.
Samson looked at them and smiled.
"Better, now that I've seen a couple familiar faces. I'm so bored, but the Lord's been keeping me company," The boy in the hospital bed said.
"Well, the Lord's company is the best company!" Jeremy says, and Norah nodded.
"Yes, Jeremy is right, Jesus will always be there for you when no one is. He won't leave nor forsake you." She continues, "All you need to do is to rely on His Word."
Samson smiles, "You're both right. Early today I was reading my bible and memories from when he was saved flooded my mind." He picks up the bible on the bed and opened it to John 3:16. Norah sat at the end of the bed as Jeremy pulls up a chair and sat down.

Flashback
An eight-year-old Samson is curled up on his bed crying. The kids at his school were mean and making fun of his name because it sounded weird, that wasn't the worst though, yes, they hurt his feelings and bully him all the time, but his best friend wasn't there.
Jeremy, his best friend didn't attend school today and that made it worst.
No one to defend him which is something Jeremy always does.
And when he's not at school everything just goes from bad to worst.
Also, him and Jeremy are complete opposites in personality.
Samson's meek and not as confident as Jeremy is, plus Jeremy way more outgoing than Samson and it can hard sometimes.
No one seems to want to hang out with the quiet boy.
