It's the middle of the night and Samson in lying in bed reading his bible, three weeks are almost up. Jeremy's been bringing him his homework this whole time since had to stop attending school because of his ankle.
His aunt walks in, "Samson?" She smiled.
"Hm?"
"This letter came for you yesterday."
Samson sets the bible down on his lap taking it from her and takes a breath preparing himself for what he's about to read.
"I would have given it to you earlier, but-" He cuts her off.
"I know, auntie." Samson nods, he didn't need an explanation.
What his parents did was terrible, no child should experience their parent abandoning them because they didn't want to be responsible for them anymore.
No child.
"But I've forgiven them," he says, and opens the envelope.
Unfolding the letter, he reads.
Dear Son,
You might or might not be surprised to see this, your father and I are sorry.
I and your father were very young at the time when we had you and I was twenty-one while your dad was twenty-two years old. I'm not making excuses for either of us, but I know your aunt is taking good care of you and Samson, I hope you forgive us one day.Someday we'll meet again,
Love you, mom and dad.
Samson finished reading and hands it back to his aunt.
"I've already forgiving you." He whispers.
The letter was shorter than he thought it would be, but at least he got one.
"Samson, I think you should get some sleep." She suggests.
He nodded.
Tonight, for Samson kinda ended bittersweet.
He smiles and said a prayer before getting under the covers.
His turns his lamp off and leaves the room.
"It'll be better in the morning."
Tomorrow's a new day.
.

.
Sorry it's short.
What do you think?
Any Advice?
