The morning sun streamed through the window of their room, casting a warm glow over the space. Miyamura, already awake and dressed, turned his gaze to Hori, who was half asleep while getting ready in front of her dressing table and her hair were messy.
An idea popped into his head, and with a quiet chuckle, he decided to act on it.
Carefully, he stand behind her and gently gathered her hair in his hands. Hori stirred slightly but didn't wake up as he began tying her hair into a ponytail. His fingers worked quickly and softly, not wanting to wake her. Once he was done, he secured the ponytail with a beautiful ribbon -something he thought would look cute.
After a few moments, satisfied with his work, he kissed her forehead and quietly slipped out to the balcony, letting her rest a bit. He stood there, gazing out over the kingdom they had built together, a sense of pride and contentment filling his chest.
Suddenly, he heard a small yell from the room.
"Miyamura!" Hori's voice called out in shock.
He turned to see her running towards him, her hair tied in a ponytail with the ribbon he had placed in it. She looked both surprised and a little flustered. Her face was red as she stood in front of him, hands on her hips.
"Miyamura, why is my hair tied up like this? And what's with the ribbon?" she asked, her tone somewhere between confusion and embarrassment.
Miyamura leaned casually against the balcony railing, a playful smile on his lips. "I thought it would look good on you," he said simply, shrugging. "But if you don't like it, you can untie it."
Hori's expression softened, and a faint blush dusted her cheeks as she touched the ribbon, her fingers brushing over the fabric gently. "N-No, it's not that," she mumbled, a small pout forming on her lips. "I just... is it really okay? Does it look good?"
Miyamura smiled warmly at her, his eyes filled with affection. "Yeah, you look cute. Really cute, actually."
Her blush deepened, and she fiddled with the ribbon for a moment before deciding, "Then... I'll keep it. I like it too."
Miyamura chuckled as he reached out and ruffled her hair slightly and saying, "You look perfect, Hori."
She smiled shyly at him, her heart fluttering. "You're always saying stuff like that...ok I will keep it like this today."

After getting ready, Hori and Miyamura headed downstairs to help with the wedding preparations. As soon as they entered the room, the girls-Shuna, Milim, and Shion-immediately noticed Hori's new look.
"Lady Hori, you look so cute today!" Shuna said with a bright smile, her eyes admiring the ribbon in Hori's hair.
Milim nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! The ponytail and the ribbon really suit you! Did you do it yourself?"
Before Hori could answer, Shion leaned in with a mischievous grin on her face. "Or maybe someone special did it for you?" she teased, giving Miyamura a knowing glance.
Hori's face turned red instantly, and she stammered, "N-No, I mean, well... sort of..."
Miyamura, sensing her embarrassment, rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "It's nothing really..."
"Ohhh, I see!" Shion winked at Hori, her grin widening. "So it was Miyamura! How romantic!"
Hori, now fully flustered, quickly hid her face in her hands, mumbling something incoherent. Milim and Shuna giggled at her reaction, while Shion continued to tease her.
"Wow, Lord Miyamura, you're really going all out, huh?" Shion teased. "First the wedding, now tying her hair like this. What's next, writing love letters?"
Miyamura laughed nervously, trying to downplay the situation. "It's just a ribbon. You're making it sound way more dramatic than it is."
Despite the teasing, Hori couldn't help but feel a warm glow in her chest. She had to admit, she loved the fact that Miyamura had done something so thoughtful for her, even if it was just a simple gesture.

Later, as they roamed around the castle garden, enjoying some quiet time together, Hori's mood had shifted completely. The compliments from her friends had left her feeling happy and confident, and she found herself twirling the ends of the ribbon absentmindedly as they walked.
"You know," she began, glancing at Miyamura with a small smile, "everyone really liked this look. Maybe I should keep it like this for the wedding."
Miyamura gave her a soft smile, his eyes filled with affection as he looked at her. "You really do look cute," he said gently. "It suits you."
Hori blushed at his words, but this time, it was a happy kind of embarrassment. She felt her heart skip a beat as she reached out and lightly punched his arm. "You and your compliments..."
Miyamura laughed, catching her hand before she could pull it away. "Hey, I'm just telling the truth," he said with a grin, his fingers intertwining with hers. "You know I can't help it."
Hori huffed, pretending to be annoyed, but the smile on her face betrayed her true feelings. She couldn't stay mad at him, especially when he looked at her like that. "You're lucky I love you," she mumbled, her cheeks still flushed.
"I know," Miyamura teased, squeezing her hand. "I'm lucky every day."
They continued their walk through the garden, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and each other's company. The preparations for their wedding were underway, but for now, they were content just to be together, teasing and laughing like they always did.
As they helped with the preparations throughout the day, the teasing from their friends didn't stop, but neither of them minded. They were too happy, too in love, to let it bother them. And as the day drew to a close, they knew that no matter what, they had each other-and that was all that really mattered.
