The training grounds buzzed with energy as the newly evolved ogres, goblins, and dire wolves prepared for the day’s session. Hori and Miyamura stood at the center, looking determined as they prepared to spar with their respective partners—Miyamura with Benimaru and Hori with Shion.

“Are you ready, Master Miyamura?” Benimaru asked with a grin, unsheathing his katana. His new, evolved form made him even more imposing, but Miyamura was unfazed.

Miyamura smirked, summoning his own sword, the blade shimmering in the sunlight. “Let’s see what you’ve got, Benimaru.”

Meanwhile, Hori stood across from Shion, her wooden sword in hand, the fierce ogre smiling at her eagerly. “Lady Hori, don’t hold back. I want to experience your full strength.”

Hori grinned back, eyes gleaming with determination. “You asked for it, Shion!”

With that, the intense sparring began.

---

Benimaru and Miyamura clashed with rapid precision, their blades moving so fast that they were almost invisible. Despite Benimaru’s immense strength, Miyamura’s agility and quick thinking allowed him to keep up, dodging and countering with perfect timing. Every strike from Benimaru was met with a sharp counter, the two pushing each other to their limits.

“You’ve improved a lot, Master Miyamura,” Benimaru said, his voice steady despite the strain of their intense battle.

Miyamura, breathing heavily, blocked another powerful strike. “So have you, Benimaru. I’m just trying to keep up.”

They exchanged more blows, Miyamura’s precise footwork matching Benimaru’s raw power. The two warriors danced across the training ground, each learning from the other, their mutual respect growing with every clash of steel.

On the other side of the field, Hori and Shion were locked in a similarly intense battle. Shion’s massive strength made her a formidable opponent, but Hori’s speed and tactical mind allowed her to stay ahead, blocking Shion’s attacks and striking back with quick, decisive blows.

“You’re incredible, Lady Hori,” Shion said, smiling even as she was pushed back. “Your movements are so fast—I can barely keep up.”

Hori laughed, dodging another heavy strike. “You’re not bad yourself, Shion. You’ve definitely gotten stronger since we gave you your name.”

Shion nodded, her eyes gleaming with admiration. “But what’s most impressive is how in sync you and Lord Miyamura are. You two fight together so effortlessly.”

Hori’s cheeks flushed slightly at the compliment. “We’ve known each other for a long time. I guess we just understand each other really well.”

Shion swung her sword in a wide arc, but Hori ducked and swiftly countered with a sharp strike to her side, catching Shion off-guard. Shion smiled proudly as she stepped back, acknowledging Hori’s victory.

After the training session, the group gathered around to rest and chat, the air filled with camaraderie. Benimaru, Shion, Shuna, and the other ogres sat together, their eyes drawn to Hori and Miyamura, who were playfully teasing each other after the intense sparring.

“They’re really something, aren’t they?” Shion said, her voice filled with admiration. “The way they fight together—it’s like they don’t even need to speak. They just know what the other’s going to do.”

Shuna nodded, a soft smile on her face. “It’s more than just their strength. They care about each other deeply. You can see it in everything they do.”

Benimaru, leaning against a tree, crossed his arms and smirked. “They’re more like one person than two. It’s rare to see such a strong bond between two people.”

Shion chuckled. “It’s sweet, isn’t it? They’re always looking out for each other, even when they’re training. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Shuna blushed slightly, her soft gaze lingering on Hori and Miyamura. “It must be nice… to have someone who understands you so completely.”

A few days passed, and life in the village continued to flourish under Hori and Miyamura’s leadership. The goblins, dire wolves, ogres, and dwarves worked together, building and expanding the village. During their free time, Hori and Miyamura often found moments to be alone, their bond growing stronger every day.

One evening, as the sun set behind the mountains, casting a warm golden glow over the village, Hori and Miyamura sat together outside their tent, enjoying the peaceful evening.

Miyamura leaned back, his arm draped casually over Hori’s shoulders. “It’s been a while since we’ve had some time to ourselves,” he said with a soft smile.

Hori rested her head against his shoulder, her eyes closing as she sighed contentedly. “Yeah, things have been pretty hectic. But it’s nice to just… be here with you.”

Miyamura chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “I’m glad we have these moments. It’s like everything else fades away when we’re together.”

Hori blushed, turning her face away slightly to hide her embarrassment. “You always know how to say the right things, don’t you?”

Miyamura grinned, leaning closer. “Only for you.”

As their faces drew closer, the air between them grew charged, their eyes locked as the world around them seemed to fade. Just as their lips were about to meet—

“Lady Hori! Lord Miyamura!”

They both jumped, their faces turning bright red as Shion’s voice interrupted their moment. Shion stood a few feet away, smiling innocently, completely oblivious to the atmosphere she had just disrupted.

“I was just wondering if you needed anything before the evening meeting,” Shion said, her cheerful tone oblivious to the tension in the air.

Miyamura coughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. “Uh, no, we’re fine, Shion. Thanks.”

Hori, her face still bright red, managed a weak smile. “Yeah, everything’s good. We’ll see you at the meeting.”

Shion nodded, her smile wide as ever. “Great! I’ll see you both there!” With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Hori and Miyamura in a flustered silence.

After a long pause, Hori groaned, burying her face in her hands. “I can’t believe that just happened…”

Miyamura chuckled, trying to suppress his own embarrassment. “Well, at least it wasn’t Gobta this time.”

Hori peeked out from between her fingers, her face still flushed. “Yeah, but… I wish we could have some peace.”

Miyamura smiled softly, reaching out to take her hand. “We’ll get our moment, Hori. Don’t worry.”

Hori squeezed his hand, her blush finally fading as she leaned back into him. “I know. But it’s still embarrassing.”

They sat together for a few more moments, their hearts still racing from the interrupted moment. Despite the teasing and interruptions, their connection only grew stronger, and as they sat in the fading light of the evening, they knew they would face whatever came next—together.
