The morning sun gently filtered through the window, casting soft golden light over the room. Hori stirred in bed, her eyes fluttering open. As she blinked the sleep away, she realized Miyamura was still sound asleep beside her. His face, usually so calm and composed, looked completely relaxed, almost childlike in his peaceful slumber.

Hori smiled softly, taking a moment to admire him. His tousled hair fell over his forehead, and his breathing was slow and steady. She couldn't help but think about how adorable he looked, and her heart swelled with affection. The battles, the responsibilities, everything melted away in this quiet moment. It was just the two of them.

She reached out, her fingers lightly brushing a strand of hair from his face. As she did, Miyamura stirred, his eyes blinking open. He looked groggy for a moment, and then his gaze met hers. They were only inches apart.

"Good morn-" Miyamura began, but before he could finish, their noses bumped, and in the next moment, their lips accidentally met in a soft, unexpected kiss.

Both of them froze in shock. Hori pulled back quickly, her face turning crimson. "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to-"

Miyamura, equally flustered, sat up, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "No, no, it's... it's fine. I mean, um... it was an accident, right?"

They both sat there for a moment, blushing furiously, avoiding each other's gaze. After a long, awkward pause, Hori laughed nervously. "Well, good morning, I guess."

Miyamura chuckled, still red-faced. "Yeah... good morning."

Once they had calmed down, the two of them got ready and headed out for breakfast. The early morning air was crisp, and the village was already bustling with activity. Goblins, ogres, and orcs were busy with their daily tasks, and the atmosphere was full of life and energy.

As they ate breakfast, sitting at a table near the center of the village, they couldn't help but be lost in their own little world. They talked about small things-what they wanted to do today, how the village was progressing, and even some silly moments from their past.

"You know," Miyamura said between bites, "I still can't believe we've come this far. From high school to building a kingdom in a completely different world."

Hori smiled, her eyes sparkling. "Yeah, it's crazy when you think about it. But... I'm glad I'm here with you."

Miyamura's heart skipped a beat at her words, and he reached out, gently taking her hand in his. "Me too."

They sat like that for a moment, just enjoying each other's presence, but of course, their peace didn't last long.

"Lord Miyamura! Lady Hori!" Gobta's voice rang out as he sprinted toward them, waving his arms excitedly. "We need your help with something!"

Both of them sighed in unison, reluctantly letting go of each other's hands. "What is it this time, Gobta?" Hori asked, amused but slightly exasperated.

Gobta grinned sheepishly. "Uh... we kind of knocked over some supplies... again. Benimaru's not happy."

Miyamura chuckled. "Alright, alright. We'll come help."

As they followed Gobta, Hori leaned in closer to Miyamura, whispering, "We can't catch a break, can we?"

Miyamura grinned. "Looks like it."

Throughout the day, they tried to steal moments alone, but every time, they were interrupted by someone-Gobta, Benimaru, or even Shion, who seemed to appear out of nowhere whenever things got a little too romantic.

At one point, as they were walking through the village, holding hands and talking about their plans for expanding the kingdom, Shion suddenly popped up behind them.

"Oh! Lord Miyamura! Lady Hori!" she exclaimed, grinning mischievously. "Are you two on a date?"

Both of them jumped, turning bright red.

"N-No! We're just... we're just walking!" Hori stammered, quickly letting go of Miyamura's hand.

Shion smirked, clearly enjoying their embarrassment. "Uh-huh. Sure."

As Shion walked off, giggling to herself, Miyamura sighed. "We really can't be alone today, can we?"

Hori chuckled. "Nope. Not with everyone around."

But despite the constant teasing and interruptions, they enjoyed every moment of the day. Whether they were helping with tasks around the village or just talking with each other, there was a warmth between them that made everything feel right.

As the day turned to evening, they finally found a quiet spot on the outskirts of the village, sitting on a grassy hill that overlooked the kingdom they had built together. The sky was painted in shades of pink and orange as the sun set, and a gentle breeze rustled through the trees.

Miyamura looked out at the village, his expression thoughtful. "It's amazing how much has changed," he said softly. "But... sometimes I think about our old life, too. You know, back when things were simpler."

Hori nodded, resting her head on his shoulder. "Yeah. I miss those days sometimes. But... I don't regret anything. If I had to do it all over again, I'd still want to be here. With you."

Miyamura smiled, his heart swelling with affection. He wrapped an arm around her, pulling her closer. "I feel the same way, Hori. I'm glad we're here together."

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, watching as the stars began to twinkle in the night sky. The memories of their past life drifted through their minds-high school, their friends, the moments that had brought them closer. It was all still a part of them, even in this new world.

Finally, Miyamura turned to Hori, his voice soft. "I love you, Hori."

Hori blushed, her heart racing, but she smiled, leaning in to kiss his forehead. "I love you too, Miyamura."

As they lay down on the grass, wrapped in each other's arms, the world seemed to quiet around them. The worries and responsibilities of ruling a kingdom could wait for tomorrow. For now, it was just the two of them.

"Goodnight, my love," Miyamura whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

"Goodnight, my love," Hori replied, her voice filled with warmth.

And with that, they fell asleep, holding each other close, their hearts at peace.
