"Alright, and what is this coalitions current objective, what have you signed me up for, captain" I asked
"We are just waiting for the go ahead, and once we get to base, I will be more than happy to let the experts explain" she said
"And what are we doing now" I asked
"Well, we have completed a trade as we received the cygnus and all three functioning coupling units we are going to canabalize those units

"Then it's time to go, let's get to the bridge" the captain said, i gestured that she could lead the way back to the infinity's bridge
"Inform our friends that we thank them for their patience and that we are now departing, then inform the fleet we are departing to our forward operating base" the captain said
"Yes ma'am" the comms officer said, as he relayed both messages

"Course plotted" the helmsman said
"On your word, sir" the captain said
"Oh, so I actually have authority here, do i" I asked before signing

"Yes sir" he said, activating the translight engine
We arrived easily enough, and what i saw was truly a sight, docks, and a shipyard built and ready, ships already starting to be disassembled and canabalized for parts, including the mothership of celestial being, the VERS landing castle, and the sky fortress damocles
"Send a message to the fleet, the admiral would like an explanation" the captain said
"Yes, please" I said
"Give katsuragi permission to come aboard, but she is not allowed a guard" the captain further said
A few hours later, shinji sat at the end of a large table, there were thirty people at the conference, not including himself
"The babylon fleet, the UNSC fleet, and starfleet are all behind you" she said
"Good day, ladies and gentleman, excuse me, but I'm gonna speak bluntly, what has my crew offered you that roped me into achieving" I asked
"I am sirzechs lucifer, I speak for the devils, part of the goal for the ascension ritual is to give you our lifespan" sirzechs said

"And why do you need my permission" I asked
"The galaxy we are practically invading is currently a monarchy, we intend to keep it that way by placing a new monarch on the throne" sirzechs said
"And why was i chosen" I asked
"One word, guardian" a woman i didn't recognize spoke
"That's chief kyoka uzen, her aid has been invaluable" selena whispered in my ear
"Oud projects also revolve around the evangelions, they have inspired us to create something better, sir" misato said
"I see, and if I refuse, if i decide to sut everything down" i asked
There was a long silence, no one said anything they simply stared forwards
"Fine, do what you won't, I don't goddamned care, dont blame me if everything goes wrong and blows up in your faces" I said, getting up and leaving the conference room, selena in tow
"Was that necessary sir" selena asked
"Not one word on the matter captain" I said, she sighed
"I assume this is another ship being decommissioned, and I will have to disembark" I said
"Yes sir, all ships sir" she said, I just waved her off
"Have my belongings appropriately packed and transferred to wherever my new living arrangements are" I said
"Yes sir" she said, I waved at her in clear dismissal
