Chapter 10-I was gonna tell you

As school ended you made your way to Lynn's locker, where she stood grabbing her stuff. "Do good for me, 'kay?" You said, patting her shoulder and making your way out to the field, where you sat at a bench. Lynn had to change out first so you figured you'd sit down anyways. Lynn eventually came out, yelling at Margo for god knows what. Lynn was yelling at her for making jokes about her and yourself, but she wasn't going to tell you.

You sat back against the bench and pulled on your jacket from the chill in the wind. Lynn was doing her warm up stretches before she got up and grabbed a basketball. You watched intently while she began dribbling the ball and working on passes. Anytime one of her teammates missed a pass she would yell at them and tell them to get ahead of themselves. Hours of watching Lynn passed until it became dark and the lights of the vanzilla came into view. It was her mom this time, and Luna.

Lynn collected her stuff and grabbed your arm. "C'mon" She said, leading your way to the vehicle as though you were blind. You definitely acted like it.

"'M coming." You mumbled with a yawn. Lynn found it cute, what else was she to do? Instead of keeping that thought in her head, she said it by accident. "I'm... huh?" You said, tired and confused. A long day of school took a lot out of you and then to sit outside on the uncomfy bench really took your energy.

"Nothing, let's get to the house so you can sleep," Lynn said. You shook your head, you were planning on watching a movie and telling her how you felt, but unfortunately you didn't get the chance. Within minutes of driving, you'd fallin' asleep with your head laying on Lynns shoulder. Damn it.

You felt yourself being carried in the chilly air, then the sound of a creaking door. After a few minutes of walking up stairs, you felt yourself being laid on a bed, it smelled like Lynn. That was enough to put you back to sleep.

For an hour you slept alone, before Lynn came upstairs and crawled into bed. She had been eating dinner and conversing with her parents. When she laid down, you slightly awoke, "Mmm, where were you..?" You mumbled.

"I was eating, go back to sleep pretty" Lynn said to you. You'd nodded and rolled over, not even paying attention to the nickname. You were too tired to think. So off to sleep you went as Lynn rolled over and spooned you nervously. She was nervous but instead of pulling away, you cuddled closer to her.

Sorry guys another short chapter because school was hectic this week but I promise to have longer ones soon. I plan to post another chapter 8pm mountain time tonight!
