Gavin's been acting weird lately. Was it me? Am I being too clingy? It's not like I have anything else to do. All I do is sit in this house all day, watching movies and eating. I guess I could start working out a little. I think there's a gym somewhere downstairs. I mean, Gavin usually comes upstairs all sweaty.

When I got down there, it took a while since it's dark as hell, I could hear my mother and Gavin arguing. "Kathy, he's looking for her. Someone will eventually know where to find you and lead him right to us. You want to get killed?" My mouth was open wide. What the hell is going on? "Gavin, we'll be fine. You didn't tell him anything did you? No one knows where I am. I'm sure of it." Gavin just scoffed at my mom's response. He started walking towards the door and I had hide, but there was nowhere to do so.

"Mea? What are you doing down here?" He looked annoyed and almost angry. "I was just looking for our gym. Do we actually have one? I mean whenever you come upstairs you look really swe-"

"Mea don't come down here again." He grabbed my arm, I could feel a bruise already forming, and took me upstairs. I wanted to cry from how hard he grabbed me. As soon as he let go, he saw the discomfort on my face. "You hurt me." I stared up at him, why would he hurt me? "I-I didn't mean to." He called after me, but I just ran to my room.

Later that night, Gavin came in my room to talk to me. "What do you want, Gavin?" I turned away from him and he sat on the end of my bed. "Let me see your arm, Mea." I sat up from under the covers and lifted up my sleeve. Gavin's eyes were full of regret once he saw the giant purple bruise on my arm in the shape of his hand. He put his hand over it, matching it perfectly. He just looked at me, almost like he was going to cry. Then he leaned in and kissed me. I put my hands on his chest, trying to push him away. "My mom is home. Are you crazy?" He laughed. "That didn't stop me the other night during the movie. Now did it?"

He pushed me back on my bed and our lips met. I felt a spark between us, but I'm sure he didn't feel one. I felt his hand go up my shirt as he cupped my breasts, well what little of them I have. He started trailing kisses down my jaw, to my neck. "What the hell?!" Oh no.

It's been three months since my mother walked in on Gavin and I. Since then, she has a strict curfew for me. There's a padlock on my door that only she can unlock, and I'm on a schedule. She blames me for the incident. She didn't yell at him or anything.

I found an empty notebook in my room, and it's been keeping me company for these couple of months. All I do all day is write, write, write. I heard the door unlock, and my mother walked in. "Time for lunch." And she walked back out. She still can't even look at me. Gavin was already seated at the table. As soon as I looked at him, I saw he was already smirking right back at me. This is the first time I've seen him since I've been on lockdown. My mom thought it'd be good to keep him away from me because "I can't control myself."

"Hell, Mea." Those green eyes of his were mesmerizing, they reminded me of someone I can't remember, but I'm not letting him win. "Hi" I simply replied. I took a seat across from him and my mother. We ate in silence. I wasn't going to say anything. I finished my meal and was about to get up, but my mom stopped me. "I think we all need to talk." I groaned and sat down.

"Mea, dear, why did you go after Gavin?" My eyes shot up from where they were locked on the ground. "Go after him? I didn't. He came on to me, mother. I'm 16." I can't believe this. My mother just sighed and started rubbing her temples. "There's no way my boyfriend would go after you, a teenager. That's ridiculous, Meadhra. I cannot believe you would lie to me. I'm your mother."

"It doesn't feel like it. What kind of mother locks their kid away in her room because you think she wants your man?" Her eyes started to gloss over. "You are no mother, Kathy." At this point she was standing right next to me, and she slapped me. I stared at her in disbelief. I ran. Somehow I ended up outside of the house. I don't know how I did it. I felt a familiar hand on my arm, and I was spun around. "If you don't get back in that house right now, I will kill your mother."
