I'm Mea. 15 years old. Blonde hair, blue eyes. Average looking, I guess. I'm Irish, just without the accent. Much disappointment. Full name you ask? Meadhra Jade MacDoolin. That's about as Irish as I get. Except for the strong urge to grab my dad's alcohol whenever I'm upset. Oh well.
My family is kind of messed up, as per usual. Peter MacDoolin is my dad, and best friend. My mom is somewhere and I remember her. I wish I didn't, but I do. "She was just going through a rough time." My dad would say that to try and keep her memory positive. Let's just say that what I thought was oregano and flour that my mom used to cook with, was definitely not. Most times I do make jokes to calm myself and to express what I can't actually say with confidence. Puns are pretty cool, I mean afterall, I keep them in the freezer.
School isn't hard, just the people are. Popularly known as "GG", "Nobody", or my favorite "Non-average freakshow". Teenagers are cruel. It's whatever though, since I'll be out of here in a couple years. My school is made up of your usual suspects, the drugged out wannabes, the girls who think they're better, the asshole guys who just want attention, the weird ones no one talks to, the people you know just don't talk to, and then there's me. That one kid who everyone picks on. It doesn't matter if I'm actually funny or cool, or if I'm slightly pretty. No one talks to me. That's why I sit at home everyday. I wanna join sport teams, theatre things, choir, or band. But I can't. It's also whatever though. Life is a big whatever.
Today is just another pathetic day that I sit in my room waiting for something to change. YouTube is also my best friend. I just scroll through and watch whatever I can find. I usually just listen to people trying to get famous from posting videos. Today I actually found someone I can call my own secret. They're five adorable, scratch that, HOT boys who are a little older than me. They call themselves One Direction. Cute right? Louis Tomlinson is the oldest, he's 19. Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan are all 17. Then there's Harry Styles. He's the youngest, at 16. I can't believe they aren't famous yet. I absolutely adore them. I also found their Twitter's. I followed them, and they actually followed me back!! This could be the change I was waiting for. Maybe I could talk to them? Who knows, right?
