"And then Donut will use all our grenades to bombard the base while we move forward in an advanced cover fire formation." Sarge explained as rallies his troops for with his plan as they stood outside the underground blue base
"Got it, And nobody hurts Kaikaina or Morrow, That's my job." Grif said cracking his knuckles
"Why does Donut get to stay on the sidelines?" Simmons asked
"Because he's got a great arm. Heh, he could've gone pro." Sarge said as Donut laughed
"It comes from years of tossing." Donut said flexing his right arm
"And as discussed, in the event that we are cornered and no other options exist, Donut will make sure to save at least four grenades, one for each of you and two for Grif." Sarge explained
"Anyone have a preference of frag or sticky? Tell me now. I don't want any complaining later on." Donut said, sounding like a disciplining father
"Frag." Simmons replied "No, wait, sticky."
"Surprise me." Grif shrugged
"I'm going to change back to frag." Simmons said last minute
"Hey, Sarge, have you thought about calling for reinforcements? Like when we called for the ship." Donut asked
"You mean the ship that crushed you while bringing more Blue soldiers? Yeah, maybe we shouldn't do that." Grif scowled as donut rubbed the back of his head
"It's worth a shot. They owe us one now. Come in, command." Sage said radioing in "Are you there? Vic, are you there? Come in. Is this thing on?"
"Does anybody hear that echo?" Simmons asked looking around
"Yeah. We're in a cave, Simmons. Caves echo, duh." Donut laughed "That's how bats navigate."
"No, it seems like it's coming from back the way we came." Simmons said turning on his heels as he walked back to the monitor room
"Did you say bats? What bats? Were you talking about bats?!" Grif asked Donut frantically
"Um, just bats in general?" Donut mused
"Don't bullshit me, dude. I heard bats." Grif said sternly

"Don't move." Tex said coldly as she kept Church dead to rights
"Ooh, busted! Kill him, Tex! I get 50:1 odds if his next death is caused by anyone but Caboose!" Tucker encouraged as Morrow tried to be the voice of reason
"Guys let's just take a second to relax!" Morrow said calmly
"Yeah, what he said, Tex, I am not O'Malley." Church tried to defend
"Bullshit!" Tex reported "It all makes sense now. You were the one that told Gary where we were. You were the one that wanted me to disable Sheila by moving her to the ship. And you wanted the ignition coil once I removed it!" Tex listed off
"Wait..." Morrow then thought back remembering that AI Unit with his name back in the server room "Of course...That was your AI unit back there...you almost sent me to get killed!" Morrow said in realization.
"That's all coincidental." Church tried to defend "I told Gary about all of my adventures and everytime I traveled back in time, remember? I had no idea about your old team Morrow, you never told any of us about your past." Church added "It doesn't make me evil. It just makes me a bad leader...and an even worse friend." Morrow then paused as he heard that last word come out of Church's mouth, he never once thought Church considered him a friend cause he thought he still hated him...but now he made it clear he saw him differently from what he assumed.
"If that's true, then why would Caboose tell me it was you?" Tex asked sternly still keeping her gun out
"You're getting information from Caboose..." Church repeated as he started to get annoyed with this accusation.
"That's right." Caboose chimed in over their radios
"Dude, I'll tell you what. If you get me killed again, I gotta tell you, this time I'm going to be a little pissed." Church said in a huff to the rookie
"Sheila told me that O'Malley might be inside Blue leader." Caboose reasoned
"And that's you." Tex added
"Sheila's crazy, remember? Besides, I was never officially promoted to Blue leader, anyway." Church said
"Well it sure as shit ain't me." Morrow said defending himself since was technically the first in line for being charge
"I know that Morrow, but Blue leader is still technically-...oh no." Church mumbled growing still

"So that's how you got here, Lopez?" Doc asked the head "What a strange, yet totally believable story." The medic nodded
(Who's that guy?) Lopez asked as kai turned around seeing a different figure in dark blue armor and a cyclops helmeted soldier with green and white accents, and a covenant elite standing to the left and right of him
"Hi there. I don't think we've met." the blue man greeted "I'm Captain Butch Flowers, and these are my friends." He said gesturing to each soldier
"Hi. Nice to meet you!" Kai greeted before tilting her head "Hey, wait. Wasn't I sent here to replace you?" She asked as Junior quickly hid behind kai's left leg
"Honk?" He said quietly before ducking behind Kai
"Well well well...looks like it was easier to find him after all." The cyclops soldier chuckled.
"Hey there, little guy. I've been waiting a very, very long time to meet you." Flowers said before his voice's tone shift deeper as he started to laugh evilly
"Oh no..." Doc mumbled as he felt his skin crawl hearing that laugh, recognizing it from a mile away.
"Now, let's make this easy." The cyclops soldier spoke up "where...is Hercules?" He asked the two soldiers directly
"Hercules?" Kai asked slightly, backing up only to hear growling and gurgling as two more elites came up from behind them, cornering them.
"I told you I wanted this to be easy." The cyclops repeated with a condescending tone.
(Shit...) Lopez mumbled as the three of them were taken hostage.
"We don't know a Hercules!" Kai shouted
"Heh, Is that right? You think with him being so damaged and weak he would keep his codename for posterity sakes...then let me rephrase...where's is Morrow...?" Cyclops said with a soft light at first before going cold with his speech.
"Hahahaha! Suck it dickheads!" Andy laughed as everyone turned around seeing the bomb sitting there "whatcha gonna do? Kill em? Torture em? Gas em?! Don't keep me in suspense!" He asked, getting more and more excited, however everyone just looked to eachother and nodded as they all started walking away from the explosive
"H-hey! Where ya going?!! Don't you need me to translate?!" Andy yelled as he watched everyone leave him. No one even responding to him as the bomb was now left alone to the sound the wind blowing in the cave. "...Oh, hey Lopez." He greeted
