Reeva's POV

I sleepily snuggled more into the warm pillow, whose comfort was taking me away from both the woes of the past and my fears of the future. A relaxing sleep was a comfort I hadn't experienced this closely before last night. I don't remember what magic was sprinkled into the air, but I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes. This silent abyss was addictive. A feathery touch on my forehead nearly made me smile as it felt like the caress of a furry blanket on a shivery winter night.

The loud sound of a female shriek jolted me awake. I looked around, struggling to believe my surroundings. That's when I remembered my reality: I was married to a psycho. If you committed the great sin of falling asleep in his arms, you'd never wake up like a normal person—in the bed where you drifted off. Instead, you'd find yourself waking up in the same arms, nestling into the chest of the man you fell asleep with.

A woman dressed in red stood there close to fainting at my right while flying clouds waved at me from the left. We were in an airplane going god knows where. I looked back to the man responsible for this chaos who sat back in his plush recliner glaring at the already frightened girl. His one arm snaked around my waist as he pulled me back to him, still spitting fire through his eyes at the lady.

I was about to pinch his arm when I heard the woman in red, or precisely the air hostess, mumble, "I am so sorry, sir. I didn't know ma'am was sleeping on your chest. I yelled when I saw a human head peep out of your blanket. I am very sorry for disturbing her sleep"
