Don't kill me after reading this *hiding away somewhere*

I am not sure what I wrote but I hope you all like it.

Trust me I thought of publishing this chapter 5 times and deleting it for 10. Let me know after reading if I should have posted it or deleted it *super nervous mode*

If you are excited to read how they got married. I wrote this chapter for you.

NOTE: PAST IN ITALICS

This chapter is a crazy ride. Many of you might be expecting something else but my brain doesn't work my way. It writes chapters in drunk-on-air mode. I hope the mere notification of this update brought a smile to your faces and now this chapter is able to widen it.

Love you guys

Happy Reading!

Dark. The one flavor that tops all others, helping you chameleon your thoughts, emotions, and feelings under a layer of the unknown. It doesn't teach you how to live without light; it teaches you how light is now an invader in your calm. This dark was what she thrived in—she lived in it until he happened. Until Aditya Roy came, holding a torch for her, and she knew whatever she was trying to hide now lay bare in front of him.

However, as she looked into his warm eyes, gazing down at her, she didn't drown in panic. Instead, something about his hold felt comforting—comforting enough to make her want to ignore the rational part of her brain and let him inside the walls she had carefully built around herself. That man knew everything, yet he treated her as though she were his most prized possession. She leaned back against his chest with a sigh as he gently rubbed circles over her belly, soothing her tense form. In that still moment of silence, they both remembered the day that changed their lives—for better or worse. The day they got hitched.

"Aditya Roy is their next target." The screen before her started to turn hazy as she saw those letters floating on it. She couldn't believe the man she had kept herself at stake for was under their radar. No! No! No! She can't let them reach him. They'd crush him under their soles and never look back. Her heart clenched in her chest, realizing the upcoming steps of her mother would involve drugging him and making him marry one of her minions. Then she would torment him every waking moment of his life and finally kill him in cold blood right in the four walls of his room. Not before poisoning his wealth, reputation, and life every day.
