Dear future me,

     Today wasn't that bad. . . I guess.

The beginning of the day was definitely average, Minho slept in while I got ready for school (lucky frikin dork), Appa made me some toast and orangeade for breakfast, I went to boring old school for four hours, laughed at Jeongin during lunch when he swallowed a bug inside his soda can, spent the last two hours of school half asleep and then drove home with Appa. All pretty normal.

But when I came home today, everyone was getting ready to leave. Everyone except me and Minho! At first I was mostly just confused because today is a Tuesday and we only go out on Fridays and Saturdays (with the exception of church on Sunday mournings), but then Omma told me that they'ed be taking Mr and Mrs Lee out to dinner, and that me and Minho would stay home. Alone. . . together.

Before I could even protest they were practically running out the door yelling about how there was some stew in a pot on the stove. I could have just eaten dinner right then and their so I wouldn't have to be all awkward at the dinner table with Minho later, but I think that would just make my stomach hurt. So, instead I just went upstairs and prayed Minho wouldn't be in my room dancing again. And then I realized that I must have made God angry or something because when I went inside, he was of course, dancing.

He looked just as scary as he did last time, flailing his calves in the air and what not, except this time he was blindfolded. I was really confused and almost asked him what the hell he was doing, but then I realized that he had no idea I was even in the room. I guess the mixture of the funky violin blasting from his little blue speaker and the fact that he couldn't see made him pretty distracted.

I didn't mean to spy. . . at first, but the sight was just so confusing. How was he putting his feet so high into the air? How did he jump without landing straight on his butt? How did he know what he was doing or weather or not he was gonna hit something with that frikin blind fold on???

Clearly I had a lot of questions, and I guess these also made me distracted because by the time the music had stopped and he took his blindfold off I didn't even notice that he was staring right at me!

It was extremely awkward for all of like ten seconds but then Minho started smirking at me and asked, "How long have you been standing there Seungmin-ah?". It wasn't that crazy of a question, but it was certainly snarky enough to make me all wide eyed and red. Which is so unfair! Might I add.

He should be the one who's embarrassed!

Anyway, after that whole thing happened Minho ended up taking a shower and I went to the living room to do my homework. Around 20 minutes in, though, Minho finished up and came down to eat some of the stew Omma left us.

I would have been annoyed by this but sometimes Minho's such a pain in the ass that he does nice things for me (don't ask me how that works. . .it just does), so when he came into the living room with two bowls of stew, I decided that a slightly awkward meal with a half stranger is worth taking a break from homework.

He put the plates on the coffee table with a few napkins and we both ate on the floor in front of the couch (I guess Minho decided that T.V. and dinner was worth a scolding from Mrs Lee on table etiquette).

By the time our show was over we had both finished eating, Minho took our bowls to wash and I finished my homework on the couch. It didn't take long after that for our parents to come back and about an hour later we both went to my room to go to bed.

. . . Thats it.

Sorry for the snooze fest,

     --Kim Seungmin
