Julianna stepped outside the school, the hot sun hitting her face as she walked toward the old telephone booth. It stood alone, its glass panels slightly dirty and worn from years of being exposed to the elements. She could hear the faint sounds of laughter from her classmates behind her, but her mind was focused on one thing: she needed to call Joey.

She pushed open the door, which creaked as she entered the booth. The air inside felt stale, smelling faintly of old paper and bubblegum. Julianna reached for the phone, its receiver heavy in her hand. She took a deep breath, her heart pounding with anticipation. With quick fingers, she dialed Joey's number.

The phone rang, and she anxiously tapped her foot on the floor. Finally, Joey's voice broke through the static.

"Hello?"

"JQ!" Julianna blurted out, her voice loud and excited. "You won't believe it! They found a baby demo-demo-gorgon!"

There was a moment of silence on the other end. Julianna could almost picture Joey's eyes widening. "Shit, okay. Keep an eye on it. If it does anything, you know what to do."

"Yeah, I know," Julianna replied, her heart racing. "Use my powers."

"Right," Joey said, his voice turning serious. "We can't let it get loose or cause any trouble. I gotta tell the lab about this."

"Wait! Joey!" Julianna called, feeling a rush of panic. "What if it's not dangerous? What if it's just scared?"

"Julianna, you know better than anyone that demo-gorgons can be unpredictable. Just keep it contained until we figure it out. You remember what happened last time." Joey's tone was sharp, and she could hear the worry in his voice.

"I know," she said quickly, feeling the tension rise in her chest. "But it feels... different. I can feel it."

"Just be careful. I'll call you back once I get in touch with the lab. Stay sharp, okay?"

"Okay. I'll watch it," Julianna promised, trying to keep her voice steady. She hung up, placing the receiver back down with a click.

Stepping out of the booth, Julianna squinted against the bright sun, her mind racing with thoughts. She glanced around the schoolyard, her heart pounding. The demo-gorgon was out there, and she had to protect it-or at least keep it under control. She felt a mix of excitement and fear.

Taking a deep breath, she looked down the street, where the demo-gorgon had been spotted. It was small, almost cute, but she knew better than to let her guard down. The last thing she wanted was for it to hurt someone-or for anyone to find out about it.
