N: Helena was walking way ahead, with Nikolaus close behind, when a tennis ball rolled up in front of her. Curious by how it got there, the young girl picked the ball up, but soon jumped when someone shouted at her.
"Give that back," a kid yelled, a young boy around Niko's age walking towards them with a small group, "that's ours."
"I-I wasn't going to take it," Ella mumbled as she stuck out her hand to let the boy take his ball back.
The boy just looked at the ball and snatched it out of her hand, and for added measure he bounced it off her head.
"That's not nice," Niko spoke, stepping between the bully and Helena as she quietly whimpered.
"I don't care," the boy laughed as he began to walk away, but he didn't get far before the young Saxon boy was on top of him.
M: The adults could see what happened and began to speed up, Adira jumped off Poldara's lap and sprinted as fast as she could toward the fighting boys, body-checking Niko off the bully and standing in between them, knowing that the adults would handle it and that they would only make things worse if they fought.
"What's going on here," Mandara asked, walking over to the aggressors, "there is no need to be picking on children younger than you for no reason, why did you feel the need to do such a thing?"
N: "She took my ball," the boy whined.
"She didn't know it was yours," Niko shouted at him, "but you, fettsack (fatty), are too stupid to think that."
"Hold on, Nikolaus, don't stoop down to his level," Wolfgang frowned, "insulting him won't make Helena feel better."
"You're German," one of the other kids pointed out, "mummy said that the Germans came and hurt a lot of us."
"And I will hurt you if you hurt Helena," the Saxon boy said, staring angrily at the group.
M: "Niko, please, I'll handle this," Mandara told him, "you are not helping the situation, and we will have a discussion later about you immediately resorting to violence."
With that said, the country knelt down and gathered the children around to talk to them, "You're right, a German did come and hurt lots of people, he hurt me and my family as well, but that also happened over three centuries ago, your mother's grandparents probably weren't even born yet. Now, you should also know that it isn't good to blame someone for the sins of their country, not all Germans are bad, and not all Mandarians are good, so it's only fair that you treat everyone with respect until you get to know them better. I had two German brothers when I was younger, and they were some of my best friends, I would trust them with my life and lay mine down for them. Now, as for the issue with the ball, the only thing you need to worry about stealing your ball are dogs, Ella was going to give your ball back to you anyway, there was no need to hit her, I'm sure that you wouldn't like to be hit in the head when you were just minding your own business."
He shuffled to the side so the children were facing each other, and gently nudged the bully forward with his wing, "now, I believe you owe someone an apology, if you do that, I'll have Niko apologise to you for jumping on you, then everyone can go about their days, does that sound fair?"
N: The bully huffed but nodded anyway, so he turned to Nikolaus and Helena. "I'm sorry," he apologised.
Seeing that Mandara thanked him for the apology, he then turned to Niko, who looked like he wasn't going to apologise any time soon.
"Niko," Wolfgang spoke sternly, going down on one knee next to his son and holding his shoulders, "you weren't in the right either. You shouldn't have hurt him."
