N:   Johann's jaw literally fell as he read the message, and when Wolfgang read it over his shoulder, his eyes also widened in shock.

"You should tell him," the Saxon spoke, but when he saw the Mandorian's face, he could see that he was visibly pissed off. Trying his best not to show his true emotions, he called out to Artemis and asked, "Arty, I was just wondering, have you been seeing anyone lately? And how close are you to them?"

M:   "I have a girlfriend, her name is Kary, we've known each other since high school," Artemis said with a smile, not finding anything strange about the change in conversation, "we've been dating for about five years now, but if I'm being honest, I've noticed that she's becoming distant. I think the stress of being with a soldier is wearing her down. I'm hardly ever home, and it can be hard to spend time with each other. I've been trying to make those few moments extra special. She always loves them. Just last month, I took her to an aquarium in Romania, and we got to swim with dolphins."

He looked up to them and saw they were looking at his phone, "Oi, I know you guys didn't have phones back in your days, but it's considered rude to look through someone's messages. Did she text me? She said she would check up on me while I was here. I'm surprised it took her so long."

N:   Wolfgang winced when he heard how long Artemis had known Kary, but Johann didn't change his resolve as he simply handed his descendant's phone back.

"It's from your sister, and I highly advise you to read it," the Mandorian spoke, watching Arty's face as he did, "take in that information as you will, but from how long you have known your girlfriend, it's probably going to hit pretty hard."

"But just in case you have any doubts," the Saxon jumped in, "she shouldn't treat you like that, even if she has enjoyed her time with you. Nothing can excuse her actions."

M:   Artemis was very confused about what Johann was going on about. He read the text, and his face was nothing short of stunned and in disbelief. He stood there for quite a while; no one could tell what his train of thought was, but it certainly wasn't anything good.

"E-excuse me, I need to figure this out," he muttered, his voice cracking, but he tried to seem emotionless, "why don't you guys take Leilong back to the infirmary? He needs to rest up for tomorrow. I'll meet you there."

He walked away then, his paint supplies and artwork completely forgotten; he just didn't care about anything else at the moment.

N:   The two men just glanced at each other, wondering what to do.

"This isn't good at all," Wolfgang muttered, "first Derogan, now this. Someone needs to watch him, and we don't know if there are still people about."

"Ja," Johann agreed, his expression having softened, "Derogan would be the best person right now."

"But you're literally related to him."

"That's not how it works," the Mandorian frowned, but after Wolfgang insisted, he sighed and agreed to watch Arty from a distance, "He needs some time alone."

"Fine by me," the Saxon spoke as he ushered Leilong towards the infirmary, "keep an eye on him."

The group then parted ways, with Johann wandering behind Artemis so that he stayed in view.

M:   Unfortunately, he wasn't close enough to hear Artemis, which was probably a good thing since he decided to call someone, whether it was his sister or Kary was unknown at the moment. Whoever it was, he didn't raise his voice; the way he paced didn't seem angry either, but as Johann watched, his expression did become more and more heartbroken.
