M: "No, I got a bakery to open up, I'm already running pretty late," Eclipse shrugged, "on that note, I did manage to tell Johann about it, he was hesitant but said he would think about it, my guess as to why is that he doesn't want to see what the humans are doing to Saxon and HRE, because trust me, whatever it is isn't gonna be pretty, Adira can vouch for that."

He tapped his finger on his chin, "I think Stella is gonna be at the base, she usually is.  She's not a full fledged militant just yet, that's why she doesn't have an entity eye yet, she's still in training if you will."

N: Wolfgang shrugged, "makes sense," before continuing his breakfast and finishing it off.

He waited several hours before Johann showed up, a mug of coffee at hand, and when he sat beside the Saxon, he explained why he was gone.

"Went back to sleep," he stared nonchalantly, "I've got to be fully energised if I'm visiting a military base."

"So you are joining me," the Saxon asked.

"Maybe? Maybe not? I'm not particularly fond of the idea of seeing a tortured Saxon and HRE. Anyways, where's Derogan?"

M: "At his base, he's just gonna give you guys a tour and show you how modern warfare works, not so much to prepare for the raid as just to show you guys his life's work," Eclipse explained, "you don't have to go if you don't want to, Johann, both to the raid and to MA's base, I know you're not much into warfare."

Rowen then suddenly appeared and they all filled him in on what was going to happen today, he was certainly excited, though a bit disappointed when the entity said that war horses weren't really a thing anymore.

"I want to see these aircrafts that everyone keeps talking about, surely there are some there, a flying vehicle would be such an advantage on ground troops."

"Wait till you see the artillery then, there has to be a gun to take down a bird after all."

N: "It's like humanity has found more elaborate ways to kill each other," Johann grumbled as he sipped his coffee.

"You can't exactly talk all high and mighty, Kress," Wolfgang spoke, "didn't you have to train up foals to eventually become war horses when you took over the Royal stables? You contributed to the wars BE was waging, no matter how much you talk down on warfare."

"But you got to agree that it's objectively not a good thing," the Mandorian countered, "and besides, I got my orders from BE and Royal. BE would always say that 'instruments of war are used to preserve the peace' and that if we had the bigger army, the least likely war would come around out of fear of destruction. That fact is as sad as it is true."

M: "And the world had to experience two of them, what's your point. Whether we like it or not, war has become intertwined with the identity of man, and when there stops being war, we stop being humanity," Eclipse sighed, "even the eternals weren't safe from them, Sleipnir's species was bred for war after all.  Even some species of animals will go to war over territory, food, and water."

"Ok, I think that's enough war talk for now, we'll have plenty of that when we go meet with Derogan," Rowen intergected, "Wolfy, I checked on the girl before I came here and heard you may be taking her in.  Congratulations, I know that it's a big decision but I think this will be good for you and Niko, you've all had traumatic experiences and now have each other to help you heal."

N: "Danke, I guess," Wolfgang replied, "I just want Angel to feel safe after what she went through."

"And you're the right person for the job, you dense oaf," Johann smiled before getting punched in the arm, "damn, chill. So, Eclipse, how exactly are we going to the base?"
