Chapter 12

Two weeks passed and everything was sort of back to normal. It was finals week for the seniors. Kalleigh returned to school and received a lot of love. Ever since she found out she was pregnant; she became distant from Antoniyo. She never questioned if the baby was his and decided to get back closer to Rhyon.

It was eating Antoniyo up inside, but he could not find the perfect way to tell Kalleigh that the baby was his. On the last day of finals, he decided to type a message in his phone to send to Kalleigh.

The message stated, "Kalleigh, I know this is going to confuse you, but the very first time we had sex in the car on Senior Skip day, I came inside of you. I never said anything because for one, as soon as I did, Ma'Kailah started coming towards the car.

I know I had plenty of time to tell you between now and then, but I did not know if you were pregnant by it. You never said anything about pregnancy symptoms or missing a cycle. I know I should have told you anyways, but I did not know how.

Seeing how happy you and Rhyon was when y'all found out you were pregnant; meant he must have nutted in you too. I'm not sure where we are going to go from here, but I just wanted to let you know that I will be here every step of the way if you let me and I support whatever decision you decide to make about the baby." He did not send it and saved it to his notes.

School was over for the seniors and everyone went out to the parking lot and got lit. Kalleigh noticed Antoniyo sitting on top of his car just looking around. She went over and asked what was on his mind and he had the chance to tell her, but he did not, he told her that it was just crazy that they were done with school.

She told him that she was not acting weird with him, she just did not want to have any sneaky links since she was pregnant with another man's baby. He told her that he understood and that he was happy for her.

Kalleigh told him that they could still hang out, but everything was going to be on a friendly note. He agreed and they ended up going out for lunch along with Ma'Kailah and a couple of other friends.
