"A power hidden within is only revealed when you face the storm."

The days that followed the battle at Windrise passed in a blur. Despite your newfound abilities, a part of you still couldn't quite believe what had happened. The memory of your glowing wings, the bow materializing in your hand—it all felt like a dream, a moment that came and went too fast for you to fully grasp.

You and Aether were now walking along the path toward Stormterror's Lair, a quiet anticipation settling between the three of you. Aether had suggested this route after receiving word of strange Abyssal activity in the area, and though you didn't fully understand why you felt compelled to follow, something in your heart urges you forward.

As you walked, Paimon floated close by, humming softly to herself. Occasionally, she glanced over at you, curiosity brimming in her eyes. "Y/N," she finally said, breaking the silence, "have you thought about what happened back at Windrise?"

You hesitated before answering. "I've thought about it... a lot. But I don't understand it. The power, the wings—why did they show up?"

Paimon nodded thoughtfully, her small hands on her hips. "It's like they're connected to you, somehow. The way the wind moved around you... it was like it *knew* you."

Aether, who had been walking slightly ahead, slowed his pace to join the conversation. His golden eyes were calm, but you could tell he was thinking deeply. "When you used your powers, it wasn't just Anemo—it was something else , something I've never seen before."

You nodded, biting your lip. It was true. The wind felt familiar, but there was something more, something deeper—like the power within you was tied not just to the elements but to something ancient, something almost... divine.

As you walked through the open plains, the wind began to pick up, gentle at first but gradually growing stronger. You closed your eyes for a moment, letting the breeze brush against your skin. There was a strange comfort in the wind, as if it was guiding you, speaking in a language you couldn't quite understand.

Suddenly, Paimon shot up into the air, pointing excitedly toward the sky. "Look! Look up there!"

You and Aether followed her gaze. High above, a flock of doves circled gracefully, their wings catching the golden rays of the sun. For a brief moment, you felt a flutter in your chest, a strange connection to the birds as they soared through the sky.

Something about their movement—so free, so light—felt eerily similar to the brief moment when your own wings had appeared. You shook your head, trying to push the thought away, but the image lingered, teasing you with a hint of your hidden potential.

It wasn't long before you reached the outskirts of Stormterror's Lair. The towering cliffs and broken structures cast long shadows across the landscape, and the air was thick with tension. Aether moved cautiously, his sword ready at his side, while Paimon hovered closer to you, her usual chatter replaced by a nervous silence.

"There's something here..." Aether muttered under his breath. His eyes scanned the area, every muscle in his body tensed for an ambush.

Just as you were about to ask what he meant, a low growl echoed through the air. Out of the shadows, an enormous Ruin Guard emerged, its red eyes glowing menacingly as it stomped toward you. Its movements were slow but deliberate, each step sending tremors through the ground.

Paimon yelped, darting behind Aether. "Why is there always something terrifying around these ruins?!"

Without wasting a second, Aether lunged forward, his sword gleaming as he struck at the Ruin Guard's leg. The machine whirred in response, swinging its massive arm toward him. Aether dodged expertly, but the Ruin Guard wasn't the only danger lurking.

Out of nowhere, more Abyss creatures appeared, surrounding the three of you. You felt your heart race as the enemies closed in. Aether was skilled, but even he couldn't fend them all off at once. Your breath caught in your throat as you took a step back, panic starting to rise.

And then, in the chaos, you saw him—the Abyss Herald.

His tall, shadowy figure loomed in the distance, watching the battle unfold. Just like before, his gaze found you immediately, and the world seemed to freeze. There was no malice in his eyes, only a strange, unspoken understanding. It was as if he was waiting, watching you as though he already knew what was about to happen.

Your pulse quickened. The Ruin Guard's arm came down, aiming directly for you. Aether shouted your name, but before you could even think, instinct took over.

A surge of wind erupted from your body, sending the Ruin Guard staggering backward. The air around you crackled with energy, the wind spiraling faster, stronger than before. It wasn't just an elemental reaction—it was something more.

Your hands began to glow again, and this time, the transformation was unmistakable. Ethereal wings sprouted from your back, delicate yet powerful. A soft, golden bow materialized in your hands, and your outfit shifted, adorned with feathers and intricate details that hinted at something far beyond this world.

The wind didn't just obey you—it embraced you, lifting you effortlessly into the air. For a fleeting moment, you felt a rush of freedom, as though this was what you were always meant to do. There was no fear, no hesitation—only the sense that this power, this form, was yours.

The Abyss Herald took a step forward, his gaze unwavering. But just as he moved, you nocked an arrow in your bow and released it. The arrow flew like a gust of wind, striking the Ruin Guard with such force that the machine collapsed into a heap of broken metal.

For a brief moment, everything was still.

Aether stood frozen, his eyes wide in disbelief. Paimon, too, was speechless, her tiny hands covering her mouth.

Slowly, you descended, your wings fading as your feet touched the ground. The bow vanished, and your clothes returned to their original state, leaving you breathless, your heart pounding.

"Y/N..." Aether whispered, his voice filled with awe. "That... was incredible."

You looked at him, still dazed by what had just happened. "I don't understand... It felt like... the wind was guiding me. Like it was trying to show me something."

Paimon finally found her voice. "Y/N, that was totally a cupid thing, right? The wings, the bow—are you sure you're not some sort of celestial archer or something?"

You smiled weakly, but deep down, Paimon's words struck a chord. This power, this form—it felt like it was only the beginning, like you were on the verge of discovering something much greater. The Abyss Herald's gaze still lingered in your mind , as though he knew more about you than you did yourself.

Whatever lay ahead, one thing was certain: you were not just an ordinary traveler in this world. There was something more, something waiting to be unlocked, and with the wind as your guide, you knew it was only a matter of time before the truth revealed itself.
