Morning light filtered through the curtains, casting soft shadows across the hotel room. Jungkook lay comfortably on his back, his arm cradling Raejin, who was curled up beside him, his head resting on Jungkook's chest. The warmth of their bodies and the lazy silence made it feel like they were the only two people in the world.
Raejin shifted slightly, nuzzling deeper into Jungkook's embrace, half-asleep, half-awake. Jungkook absentmindedly ran his fingers through Raejin's tousled hair, a faint smile playing on his lips.
"I don't think you should keep attending my classes, Jungkook." Raejin's voice was soft but serious, cutting through the morning stillness. "It's against the rules. Professors can't date their students."
Jungkook let out a soft chuckle, his voice laced with amusement. "You're so into rules, huh?"
Raejin looked up at him, his eyes determined but still laced with sleep. "Yes. Rules are important."
Jungkook sighed, his hand pausing in Raejin's hair. "Alright, I'll stop going."
"There's another professor who's great at teaching psychology. I can recommend -"
"No need." Jungkook interrupted, his tone gentle. "I didn't join your class to learn psychology. I joined because it was you."
Raejin blinked, momentarily taken aback. "You should study, Jungkook. It's important."
Before Jungkook could reply, Raejin's phone buzzed on the bedside table. The screen lit up with a single word: Brother. Jungkook's eyes flickered over to it, curiosity stirring within him.
Raejin sighed, cutting the call without a second thought and sitting up, the sheets slipping down his bare back as he began gathering his clothes scattered on the floor.
"Why didn't you answer?" Jungkook asked, his voice low with sleepy curiosity.
Raejin chuckled softly, shaking his head as he pulled on his shirt. "If he knew I was here, in bed with one of my students, he would lose it."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, a lazy grin spreading across his face. "He doesn't need to know."
Raejin shot him a playful but knowing look. "He can find out easily, if we stay reckless. You do not look like a student, but more like some gangster. If he found out, he would chase you down and demand you stop seeing me."
Jungkook's grin faded slightly, replaced by a flicker of discomfort. He watched as Raejin stood, zipping up his pants, his expression becoming more serious.
"He's a protective brother," Raejin continued, glancing back at Jungkook. "And... I'm not exactly sure what he's involved in, but it's with people I don't trust. Bad people. I don't want you getting wrapped up in that world."
Jungkook sat up, his gaze following Raejin as he moved around the room. "You said I look like a gangster, right? So why worry?" he teased, though there was a hint of nervousness in his tone.
Raejin smiled softly, crossing the room to ruffle Jungkook's hair affectionately. "You may look the part, but you're not one. You are my cutie" He said with loving eyes "Don't prove me wrong." His voice held a quiet warning, his eyes serious for a moment before they softened again.
Jungkook swallowed, the weight of Raejin's words settling in. He needed to steer the conversation away from dangerous territory. "What's his name, your brother?"
Raejin paused, his movements stilling for a brief second. "Kai," he answered finally, offering a small smile. "He's not a bad person. It's just... the people he's around, the business he's in. Last week, I had to bail him out of jail."
