Morning.

Jungkook stirred, blinking sleepily as he reached over, feeling the empty space beside him. His heart raced for a second, but he relaxed as soon as he saw a familiar figure standing by the window, looking out into the street.

"Hey, Jin," Jungkook called out with a sleepy smile.

The figure turned, but something in his gaze was... off? Dark, calculating eyes met Jungkook's, sending a strange chill down his spine.

"What happened?" Jungkook chuckled nervously. "Why are you looking at me like you've never seen me before?"

The man shook his head and casually sipped a glass of water, avoiding Jungkook's eyes. "Go get ready. We need to leave."

Jungkook smiled again, walking over with a playful glint in his eyes. "I'll take a quick shower, or...?" He stepped closer, tracing his hand over later's broad shoulder. "Do you want to join me?"

He choked on his water, his composure slipping for a brief second. He cleared his throat and waved off the suggestion. "No, go ahead. I need to make an important call."

Jungkook frowned slightly but nodded. "You sure you're okay?" he asked, noticing odd behavior.

"Yeah," He muttered, already reaching for his phone as he stepped out of the room.

Once outside, out of the ears, He dialed Yoongi.

"Seokjin Hyung, do you need any help? Should I come there?" Yoongi's voice was quick and efficient, sensing the tension.

"No need, Yoongi," Seokjin replied, his tone firm.

Yoongi hesitated for a moment, then added, "You're with JK. Be careful. Don't overdo it. He might figure out you're not Jin Hyung."

"I know what I'm doing", Seokjin said, his voice low but firm. "Just make sure the road is clear. We're leaving soon. I want trusted people only, no leaks. This needs to be perfect."

"Got it," Yoongi replied before they hung up.

Seokjin straightened his posture as Jungkook emerged from the bathroom, ready and smiling, completely unaware of the danger he was in. Seokjin's gaze lingered on him for a moment... the prey who had unknowingly challenged him. The one who thought he knew everything, yet had no idea he was walking into a trap. Seokjin felt a twisted amusement rise inside him as a small smirk tugged on his lips.

As they headed out toward the car, Jungkook stole glances at Seokjin, smiling at him affectionately. "I'm so glad that you are again planning something for us, to spend more time together," Jungkook said softly. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Jin."

Seokjin remained mostly quiet during the drive, his mind focused on the plan. But Jungkook kept talking, confessing how much Raejin meant to him, how important their relationship had become. Each time he called his name as Jin, it sent a strange, unsettling feeling through Seokjin's chest, something he couldn't quite explain.

The car rolled down the highway, the mood shifting as Jungkook's phone vibrated repeatedly. Taehyung's name flashed on the screen. Seokjin, staying in character, noticed.

"Who's calling?" Seokjin asked calmly.

"It's Taehyung, my cousin," Jungkook replied with a shrug, dismissing it. "I'll call him back later."

Seokjin's eyes sharpened. Taehyung. The name hit him differently. He kept his tone neutral but pressed, "Maybe you should pick up. It could be important."

Jungkook glanced at the phone, the screen lighting up again, but shook his head. "Nah, it's fine. He'll understand."

Seokjin's jaw tightened. His instincts were screaming at him to handle this carefully. He couldn't afford any slip-ups with Taehyung in the picture. Jungkook, meanwhile, began to feel a creeping unease as he noticed later's sudden concern about Taehyung's call. It was unlike him.
