At last, it was time to relax again, and with Summer (not Ruby's mother) here, it was going to be much better.
Ruby: (Y/N)!
(Y/N): What is it Ruby, you seem excited.
Ruby: Mom and I have a big question for you!
(Y/N): What's that?
Summer: Who is the better baker between us?
(Y/N): Well ... that would have to be- Hmm ... do you think you could give me a demonstration?
Ruby: Well-
Summer: Ruby, you are my dear beloved baby girl! And I love you with all my heart!
Ruby: Awww! Mom! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH TOO!
Summer: BUT I WILL NOT LOSE!
Ruby: Oh? WELL, I WON'T EITHER! LET'S SEE WHO'S THE BEST THEN!
(Y/N): Just don't try to kill each other!
Ruby and Summer: OKAY!
Soon enough...
Ruby came out with 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies.
And Summer came out with bigger versions of that 2 dozen that Ruby had.
(Y/N): Well, you both really put in the effort. But-
You tasted one of each of theirs.
Ruby: WELL?!
Summer: Who won?
(Y/N): Honestly-
Ruby: Yes?
Summer: Do you not know?
(Y/N): It's just that ... both of them are equally great!
Ruby: R-Really?
Summer: There's no greater taste?
(Y/N): No.
Ruby: No-
(Y/N): Yeah, it's all equally great.
Summer and Ruby: Whew, that's a relief.
(Y/N): Seriously?
Ruby: I wouldn't want to argue with my Mom!
Summer: And I don't want to argue with my precious Gem!
They both hugged each other as Summer kissed her daughter on the forehead.
(Y/N): Aww, now that's cute! Group hug!
You hugged them both, and they just hugged you tighter!
(Y/N): AGH! You both hug too tightly! I-
Then they kissed you on the cheeks.
(Y/N): At least those kisses are still sweet.
You kissed them both back on the lips, and soon enough, you had a whole bunch of cookies to eat with both Ruby and Summer.
It was a win win, WIN!
