It's been a few weeks and the boys have played a total of seven gigs. People are starting to recognize them on the streets of Australia.
The boys have been practicing extra hard lately to impress more and more people.

Luke decided that we needed some time just him and me before their band actually blows up. We decided to go out to eat. Right now I'm waiting for him at a small coffee shop.

I decided to come a few hours early, I need a job and there was a "help wanted" sign hanging in the window. Luke and the band were auditioning for a huge gig today and he said he'd meet me here after.

I sat down at a small table In the back looking at everyone who came in and out of the place.

"Hi, how are you today?" A petite blonde haired girl stood in front of me, a blue apron covering the front of her clothes. Her hair was in a tight bun and she had a pen and paper in her hands.

"Are you ready to order?" She said her voice soft.

"I'm actually waiting for someone, I'm a little early." I laughed.

"Oh alright, did you want to order anything to drink while you wait?" She asked laughing as well.

"I'm okay for now thank you though."

"You are welcome, if you need anything my name is Sophia." I smiled at her. She walked away going to the next occupied table receiving their order.

Luke's POV

"Let's do something new and unpredictable." We finished the song. I looked at the boys as we all smiled.

"Should we do a different song?" Calum asked his face concerned.

"No I think this one works." I said confidently.

"I just want to know that we're doing everything we can to get this gig. I'm nervous." Calum explained.

"We all are." Ashton laughed.

"Let's take a break, five minutes?" Mike suggested. Everyone agreed taking drinks of their water.

I looked over at Calum watching him sigh at his phone before setting it down and putting his face in his hands.

"You and Ski fighting again?" I walked up to him handing him a bottle of water.

"She's working on something new for work and doesn't have time for anything right now." He said bitterly as he glared at the floor.

"She's once again working with Chris."

"He's her editor, she kind of has to." I took a seat next to him.

"What's going on Cal."

"I just can't help but feel like I'm losing her." He sighed.

"She loves you Cal." I said trying to reassure him.

"She loved him too."

"That's in the past. She loves you so much more."

"But she didn't when she was with him. We were friends when they were together, she still wanted him over me."

"So you're saying because she knew you longer but dated him first she's automatically going to want him over you now?"

"I don't know, I guess."

"So then Monica and Chandler shouldn't have gotten married then? Because she dated Richard first even though she knew Chandler."

"Are you using a friends reference?" He laughed. I shook my head laughing too.

"You don't even like friends."
