Cassie's POV

After school Luke is meeting up with me at my locker. Apparently we have to start right away. I rolled my eyes thinking about this. When I told Cal about Luke tutoring me he was completely surprised. He knew that Luke was really good at maths but didn't think he'd ever help someone.

I am completely confused by this. Cal says Luke wouldn't tutor someone and he hates me so why would he tutor me?

I'm standing at my locker putting my stuff in it waiting for Luke. My thoughts were interrupted when my phone rang.

The ringtone was Oath by Cher Lloyd that weird it's like one in the morning there.

"Hey gorgeous! What are doing up?" I questioned as soon as I answered.

"I can't sleep. Besides we don't have school tomorrow. Teachers meeting or something. What time is it there?"

"You're lucky I just got outta class." I laughed.

"So what's new. I fucking miss you Cass!" She sighed. I can picture her turning over in her bed.

"Nothing oh actually one thing." I said not wanting to tell her about Luke tutoring me.

"Stop being so vague and tell me!"

"Luke is tutoring me in a class." I groaned.

"Which one is Luke. Oh! Is it the one that has the really pretty eyes and dimples? The one you like?" She questioned or stated.

"I don't like him" I denied shaking my head closing my locker. I jumped seeing Luke on the other side of the door.

"Who don't you like?" He smiled. I rolled my eyes ignoring his question.

"I gotta go. Luke's here and we're going to his house for the tutoring." I sighed leaning on the locker.

"Oooooo his house. So you're gona be in his room?" She questioned. I can picture her wiggling her eyebrows.

I stood straight up telling Luke lets go. He lead the way.

"Shut up it's just tutoring. Besides I don't like him!" I whispered the last part sternly so Luke wouldn't hear but Sara knew I was serious.

She laughed at me.

"Okay, okay I'll let you go. I love you be safe... right you can't see me I'm winking" She giggled.

I rolled my eyes "Love you too!" I said hanging up the phone.

"Who was that your mom?" Luke questioned once I caught up to him.

"My best friend actually." I said with attitude. He laughed at me.

"Why is she calling you now?"He questioned.

"We haven't talked for a few days. It's hard you know beacuse she lives in Michigan and its a fourteen hour time difference." I said sadly missing my best friend.

He looked actually interested which surprised me a little.

"Anyway she couldn't sleep, just wanted some girl talk I guess." I said when we approached what I assume was his car.

"That sucks. That she's so far away. Are you two close?" He questioned.

"Yeah really clos=wait why does it matter. Lets get one thing straight you're only turtoring me we won't be friends and we most certainly don't have to talk about my life." I said looking out the window.

He laughed at me.

"If I'm going to be tutoring you, the first rule is you have to be nice."

"Oh I'm the mean one?" I laughed sarcastically. He rolled his eyes at this.
