Cassie's POV

Luke still hasn't told me why he was so upset a few weeks ago but I gave up. James and I have been doing great. I guess you could call it the honeymoon stage of our relationship.

We are always with eachother, talking, laughing, and just having a good time. I really like James and he's made me almost forget about my feelings for Luke. Almost.

Everytime I see Luke something inside of me goes wild still. His blue eyes, his blond hair, His dimples, his full lips, his lip ring. I can't seem to shake this crush. No matter how hard I try with James, Luke is always at the back of my head.

I shook my head from the thoughts as I looked up at James from my laying position. We're at his house right now watching some movie I'm not interested in at all.

How did I go from thinking about how good James and I are doing to Luke. I just don't get it.

The movie ended and James looked at me.

"Did you like it? It was good right?" He questioned as he got up taking the DVD out and putting it back in its case.

"Yeah it really was" I smiled my best fake smile.

"Uh I think I should go it's getting late and I told Ash I would stop by later"

"Course"

Cassie's POV

"Ash?" I called out as I walked into his house.

"Hey Cass, How are you?" Ashtons mom asked me as I walked into the living room where she was sitting snuggled up in a blanket.

" Hi Mrs. Irwin, I'm good how are you?" I questioned.

"Really good Ash's upstairs in his room" She smiled sweetly pointing to Ashtons room.

"Thank you!" I called out as I heading upstairs.

I knocked twice before entering Ashtons room to find him on his phone laying on his back on his bed.

"Hey babes" I said as I took a seat next to him.

"Hey, How was James's?" He questioned putting his phone down.

"It was good, watched a movie I didn't pay any attention too" I laughed laying down getting comfortable.

"And why is that?" He layed beside me mimicking my actions.

"Wasn't interesting" I shrugged.

"Still thinking about your feelings for Luke?" He knows me so well.

"No, their gone" I lied.

"How many times do I have to tell you? You're a shit liar Cass" He said turning to face me. I rolled my eyes at this. Mostly because I know its true but also because he only knows when I lie because we're best friends and he knows everything about me.

"Ugh! I know" I groaned facing him as well. The rest of the time we talked about how I was slowly getting over those feelings I have for Luke, James helping me do this. Then we jumped into random conversations like we usually do.

It was getting really late so I told Ash I should go.

"Oh hey wait, theres this party at this Kid Jason's house, wana come?" He asked as I was halfway out the door.

"Who's all going?"

"Everyone, Cal, Ski, Savanah, Mike, Me, Luke, Kelsey" He told me.

"You can bring James too"
