— A few days later, Jia's POV —
I exited the hospital as I sighed. This situation wasn't getting any better. For the past few days, I've only been hearing bad news. The only good news I've heard was Kyujin getting accepted early for the women's dance team.
I took a seat on a bench while I waited for my Uber to take me home. Now, I am talking about my house. Like my childhood home. I decided I am here in the UK, might as well take my chances and try fixing my childhood trauma. I shivered at the thought.
I sighed to myself, whispering. "Well, I can't live like this forever."
— Jungwon's POV —
"Yes halmoni! I'll be careful!" I called out to my grandmother, as she was worried that I was going to drive after a long time.
Well, the real reason I am here isn't only to meet my sister, but to check up on my grandparents. They have been living here for about five years, and the company is in Korea, so my parents have to be there. That's partly why Jungeun noona studies here. She stays in the mansion of my grandparents as well, and I am currently staying in my room there. I have a car too, here in the UK, but not in Korea. In Korea, I have a chauffeur.
So it's been quite a while since I've driven my car. Not to brag, but it's a Bugatti. I wore my seatbelt as I started the engine of the car, speeding out of the driveway and into the road. While I was driving, I received a call from Riki.
"Yes, Riki?" I answered.
"How's it there in the UK?" Riki replied.
"Great. I'm getting my rest."
"Okay, well hate to break it to you, but . . ."
"What is it?"
"Umm, Minji and Winter are spreading rumors about Jia." He blurted out.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "About?"
"They're saying she's a sl*t. Sleeping with all the boys." He muttered.
I tightened my grip on the steering wheel.
"They're going to regret this," I muttered under my breath as I took a sharp turn.
"Don't do anything stupid. By the way, Jia is in the UK. I forgot to tell you." Riki added.
"I know. I met her last week."
"So why is she there exactly? She told me it was a vacation but it seems like she was hiding something."
"Her mother is sick. Confined in the hospital, and from what I noticed, she doesn't like talking about her brothers and her dad. Seems like there's something odd going on." I explained.
"I know all that. What else?" Riki impatiently asked.
"What!? Why do you know all that?" I asked, jealous.
"She told me, haha." Riki laughed at me.
I rolled my eyes jokingly. "I really should stop bullying her."
"You really should."
"Hey, make sure to stop the spreading of rumors about Jia, 'kay?" I said. "I'm worried."
"Sure loverboy. I'll try my best."
"Okay, I have to go. I'm at my destination."
"Have fun, stay safe."
I ended the call as I parked my car on the side, watching as some people gushed over my car. I got out of my car, pressing the lock button on my keys. I shoved them into my pocket as I walked along the lit-up streets, stopping at an old toy shop.
