"Okay, I did not mean that he's not cute, he's a menace. He's my rival. Get it into your head, Park Jia!"
Jia lay on the bed, sighing. She does admit that he's handsome, but his personality? No comment. "He's too selfish and cold for my liking." She says.
The door opened, Minji appearing. "Hey Jia! Do you want to join me and a few others do some homework at the library?" She asked.
Jia hummed. "Sure, I'm bored. And I do have homework to do, so . . ."
Minji smiled. "Then whatcha waiting for? Let's go!"
Jia jumped off the bed, taking her phone and her notebooks.
Jia entered the library behind Minji, spotting Riki, Sunoo, Wonyoung, and another girl at the table.
"Hey guys! Kyujin, this is Jia! She's joining us today." Then Minji turned to Jia. "Jia, this is Kyujin."
"Hey Jia! I heard of you!" Kyujin said, waving. Jia waved back.
"Hi!" Jia shyly greeted, taking a seat next to Minji.
Riki turned to Sunoo. "Yah, hyung can we switch? I wanna sit next to Jia. I just learned that we share the same music style!"
Sunoo, sitting next to Jia, rolled his eyes. "We're supposed to study, not chat."
"I finished my homework already!" Riki said, pouting.
"Jia, you okay with it?" Sunoo asked.
Jia nodded.
Riki laughed evilly in a playful way to Sunoo, sitting down next to me.
"I'll just go to the bathroom." Jia said, getting up. In the middle of the room, near the bathroom, she heard a shout.
"Hey!"
Jia turned around to see 2 boys standing behind her.
Before she could speak, they poured an ice bucket on her head, drenching her in freezing water. Everyone in the library gasped as Jia looked up, glaring at them.
"Hahaha. So funny." Jia sarcastically replied.
"So what they said was true! Feisty! Sweet looking, but savage! Hahahaha!" Someone said, laughs erupting around.
"Hey, at least her body looks good." One of the boys said, walking closer. Jia's hourglass body shape appeared through her white shirt, now transparent from the water, sticking to her body.
Riki didn't look happy. "Yah! Hyunjin and Yeosang! Leave her alone!" He shouted. Hyunjin and Yeosang rolled their eyes.
The librarian barged in. "Hey! You little brat! No shouting in the library!" The old woman stomped over to Riki, grabbing him by the ear.
Riki rolled his eyes. "Detention. I know. I love that place. It's become my second home."
The librarian took a look at me. "Why are you wet? No body showing in my library!" She demanded.
Minji explained the situation quickly. The librarian sighed. "Fine. Hyunjin and Yeosang! You brats! Detention with Riki until 12 p.m!"
They both groaned, throwing dirty looks at me, as I got up, bowed to the librarian, and walked out the door, embarrassed at my wet clothes. I sighed, looking at the empty hallway. Minji ran out after me, carefully holding my arm and wiping my face with a tissue. "I'll come with you."
"Thanks Minji, but I think I'll go to bed. Go back to them, they're waiting." I said nicely, declining her offer.
Minji stopped, sighing. "Sorry Jia. It's pretty hard being new here. You should stick with us. Especially Riki, since people are scared of him. Boys are, but girls just crush on him. But I promise they'll warm up to you. If you want to be alone, I'll leave you alone." She quietly said. Jia smiled, taking her into a hug, without sticking her clothes to Minji.
