— Jia's POV —
I woke up to my alarm as I annoyedly grabbed my phone and shut it off. I got up slowly, sighing. The event yesterday is taking a toll on my energy.
I took a quick shower, putting on my school uniform lazily. I looked around. Seems like Minji hasn't came back yet. Taking my purse and phone, I walked out.
Unbothered, I ignored the stares and the people gossiping in the hallways of the dormitory. I didn't really care, but I was curious. People are already used to me, so something must've happened. Yeah, it can't be what happened yesterday night, no one was there except Jungwon.
I opened Instagram, immediately smiling when I saw Jake's post. I liked the post, smiling. Then I looked up from my phone, thinking about him.
I spotted Minji standing next to Sunoo, an annoyed frown on her face. Sunoo looked pissed. I walked towards them, putting on a small smile.
"Hey Ji! And Sunoo!" I greeted softly once I was near enough.
Sunoo turned his head, giving me a small troubled smile, Minji turning to me with a deeper frown. Wow, that's weird. Why is she looking at me like that?
— A few minutes ago, Sunoo's POV —
I sighed, dialing Minji's number. She picked the phone up pretty quickly.
"Minji-ah. Cut it out." I said.
I heard a scoff. "It's none of your business. Stop getting involved."
"Involved? Well if you don't want me to get involved, cut it out." I simply replied, annoyed. Minji noona is great and all, but sometimes she can be pretty annoying.
"I'm older." She bluntly replied.
I rolled my eyes. "By what? Three minutes? I don't care. If you don't stop it and come meet me at your locker, I'm telling Riki."
"Too bad! The person I told is Riki!" Minji sarcastically answered.
I bit the inside of my cheek, pissed. "Kim Minji, I'm telling our dad about what you did. It's not okay. That was completely unacceptable. How could you do that?" I snapped.
I waited as Minji let out an annoyed sigh. "Fine. But don't tell Jia, or you'll regret it, little brother." She spat out.
Then she ended the call. I sighed. Minji isn't the same sweet girl anymore, and it's because of a boy. I don't mean to be mean to her, I'm just worried. Worried that we will drift apart and separate just like my parents.
And the worst part is, she's going behind her best friend's back. People might think Jia isn't that special to Minji, but she's Minji's first true friend. My older twin sister has always had a unique attitude, and maybe sometime she can be scary. And nothing is wrong with that, but people just don't like her because Minji's actions make it seem like she thinks that she is above everyone. But that's not the case. I know Minji, she's very humble inside.
Even so, I am very pissed. I looked up from my phone to see Minji walking towards, me a frown on her face.
Once she got to me, I sighed. This was so wrong. "You are going to apologize to Jia."
Minji rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to."
I grit my teeth together. "Are you really doing this? To Jia?"
"I can't apologize to her, because how will I face her after this!? What's done is done Sunoo." Minji bitterly replied. "I admit I went a little too far, but still . . ." She trailed off.
"You aren't telling Jia. Not one word of this." She strictly added.
I stayed silent, looking ahead. That's when I spotted Jia. I swallowed the lump in my throat.
