— Jia's POV —
It's been three months, and nothing has changed much. Except for the quarter exams that just finished. Minji still avoids me and apparently she's besties with Winter. Jungwon and I still compete for every grade and score, and Riki and I got closer.
Right. Kyujin is basically my closest friend now, because Minji ditched being my roommate to be Winter's roommate, which was originally Kyujin. Their rooms are the exclusive ones, so I'm surprised that Kyujin agreed to switch and get a lower grade room. She told me she didn't really care about the place, but the person. So, she's my roommate now.
Ever since school got busy, I didn't have much time to get updated with mom, so I have decided to go to the UK for a month, for my vacation.
Today I'm packing my stuff for a month trip. My flight is in seven hours, so I have a lot of time.
"Jia! What time is your flight again?" Kyujin asked while swinging her legs at the end of her bed, using her phone.
"9 p.m." I answered.
"Oh ok! Can I help you pack your things? Lucky you, I'm staying here on vacation. Anyways, can I?" She energetically asked, jumping off her bed.
"Sure!" I chuckled at her eagerness. Then I paused jokingly. "Hey, why are you so excited for me to go away? Because you secretly don't like me?" I teased.
Kyujin rolled her eyes playfully. "No, I'm just excited for you to take a break! You've had enough for these five months. Studying nonstop, and all this drama. I'm genuinely happy for you." She replied.
"Aww! Thanks! You should too. Working pretty hard for the dance team, aren't ya?"
Kyujin smiled, nodding happily.
An hour later, we finished packing my things, and I was ready to say bye to my other friends. Sounds cheesy for a month trip, but I want to know what's up. Then afterwards, I'm going to the airport.
— Jungwon's POV —
I scrunched my face in annoyance when I saw Minji and Winter hitting on a basketball boy. I ran to my car, which the family driver was driving. I was headed to the UK to see my sister! My older sister. She's studying university there. Mom and dad are busy, so I'm going to see her alone. I have a few errands to run, so I gotta leave now if I wanna catch the 9 p.m. flight.
Before I could get there, I saw Jia walking close by. Then she rolled her eyes.
"Hey Jia!" I teased, knowing that she was pissed about not beating me at the subject she aces. "How's life!?" I asked loudly, since the wind was blowing.
"Perfect! Perfect that I'm leaving abroad so I don't see you for a month!" She yelled back. "I hope you go abroad as well on the other side of the world or maybe to outer space so that I can be the farthest I can be from you!" She added in a fake bitter attitude. I could tell she was actually pissed, put there was some playfulness in her voice.
I chuckled. Jia is such a mood. "Okay then! See you never!" I joked.
"You too!" She answered as I got in the car, closing the door. The car started moving as I sighed.
"Is she your girlfriend sir?" The driver politely asked.
I smiled. "I wish-" I paused. "No. She's not." I continued bluntly. The driver laughed.
"You guys look cute together, there's a good chance, even if you might not think so. I've experienced this before. My wife was actually my enemy and we often bullied each other. Then one day, maybe by fate, we met again and suddenly stopped clashing. We started dating and got married with a strong relationship three years later." He explained.
