Chapter 10

Carson was awoken from his dreams as someone slapped him awake.
"Bloody fucking hell you sleep like a damn rock!" Daniel said as he stood over Carson. Angry Carson made a gust of wind push Daniel away.
"Five more minutes." Carson whined as he pulled the blanket over himself. All of the sudden fire burned Carson's blanket as he sat up yelling.
"What in the actual fuck!?!" Looking at the doorway he noticed Kaiden was standing there his hand engulfed in flames.

Kaiden looked at Carson with a serious look even though there was a small hint of humor in them. "It's time to get up now." Carson got out of bed and changed into some jeans and a sweater.
"Why do I have to get up?" He asked Kaiden.
"We need to train." He replied. The boys walked out into the quad seeing the rest of the group was already out in the quad.
Alex looked at Kaiden annoyed
"Why just...why." Ignoring the complaining Kaiden stood in front of the group.

"All who has the abilities step forward." Valentina stood next to Kaiden as Mikey,Alex, and Carson stepped forward. Looking at Valentina, Kaiden nodded his head.
"Ok first this is control once you gain full control the more you can do." She explained to the boys. Alex looked at her
"I can make a bench out of rocks. I do believe I have con-" Alex was cut off as a gust of wind picked him up and slammed him into the wall.

"If you have any questions about training ask me or Kaiden or you can be like Mr. Alex here making out with the wall." Valentina said then let's Alex go. Alex looked at Valentina before falling over unconscious. Kaiden dumped water on Alex to wake him up. Carson looked at Valentina and said
"We would like to learn." She nodded then looked at Kylie and Daniel.

"It would be best if you leave...we don't need distractions." Daniel nodded and left with Kylie. While walking around Kylie looked at Daniel and said
"I'm gonna go walk around outside of campus." Daniel nodded and watched her leave. Water soaked the ground while boulders scattered around on the ground cracked and shattered. Kaiden looked at the boys as they kept practicing.
"Mikey and Alex you both have done a good job and you have full control of your abilities, Carson you still need work my friend."

Carson nodded and looked around him as the area looked trashed.
"Nah I think I can take you on without anymore tr-" and just like that he was slammed into the wall by a huge gust of wind. Valentina stood next to Kaiden as she made the wind slam him on the wall. Kaiden looked at Valentina and raised a brow.
"Let him go." He said crossing his arms and looking at the other two boys. The moon shone a light on Kaiden making his eyes glow as he look at Mikey and Alex. He walked up to them setting his hands on both the boys shoulder.
"I hope you have made each other good friends because now you have to try and kill each other. Using only what you know." He looked at the two boys with a stern look as Alex and Mikey look at each other.
"Well sh-" Alex was cut off as Mikey lifted Alex up in water and threw him.
"WHAT THE FUCK KAIDEN!" Carson looked at Mikey and Alex fighting. Kaiden made Carson get knocked down by a fireball.
"Calm down they don't know enough to kill each other." He said as he stood over Carson now back to practicing.

A pair of glowing red eyes watched the training session. The figure smiled showing jagged sharp teeth as they watched. The figure turned its gaze on Alex. A boulder flew towards the figure and the figure left.

"Watch it Alex!" Valentina yelled as she stood next to Kaiden. She turned to him as she crossed her arms.
"There has to be another. If the real one is asleep then there has to be another one." She said looking up at him.
"I know and that's what I'm afraid of. If someone else is in his place before he wakes then who knows what they are capable of.." He looked down at Valentina "that's why mother and father prepared us for this. We have to finish what they couldn't. We have to help finish this war. Carson may be able to conquer this."

Valentina nodded and looked at Carson.
"He's not ready..he doesn't know what to do yet. He can't even control his powers." Her brother gave Carson a sincere look as he kept practicing. "If we can get him to concentrate harder and get it through his head that if he doesn't do this the world can end all humans will be killed or enslaved." The brother and sister watched the boys practice.
Hours passed as the night gets close to the morning.
"Alright you guys time to sleep. We will continue tomorrow." Everyone went to bed and Carson laid himself down in bed and stared at the ceiling. Eventually he fell asleep.

The next morning Carson woke up to seeing Kaiden sitting on him.
"Oh you are awake." He said as he set down his book. "Good and bad news. Good news is you are doing good with control but bad news is Kylie is gone. She didn't return last night."
