Chapter 2

It felt like days before Carson finally gained consciousness,but when he woke up he wasn't in his room. He was in an infirmary, looking around he notice other kids in beds some coughing and some with casts. A small woman walked up to Carson speaking with a strong British accent.

"How are you feeling?" she asked resting her hand on his forehead. Carson pushed her hand away.

"Your hands are so cold!" He looked closer at her face features noticing she looked to be in her early 20's, blonde hair that's put up in a bun, her blue eyes glowing from the moonlight reflecting off of it. A bunch of kids sounded from behind the big doors at the end of the room and a school bell going off.

"This is a school?" He asked looking up at the nurse but before she could answer a man walked up he seemed to be in his early 30's.

"Yes my dear boy this is indeed a school" He stopped at the end of Carson's bed "Welcome to midnight academy." He smiled but something caught Carson's eye it looked like he had fangs. Shaking his head and rubbing his eyes Carson shook off the thought thinking to himself "No such things as vampires" .  

The man introduced himself saying his name was Charles and that he was the headman of the school or as what Carson was use to principle.

"Now I'm gonna have a student show you around. Daniel please come in!" Charles called for a young man that looked to be one year older than Carson.

"Yes Mr. Charles?" he spoke with a Australian accent. Carson assumed that the school had kids from different states.

"Will you be willing to show Carson around?" Mr. Charles asked kindly to Daniel. Daniel nodded and watched Mr. Charles leave the room along with the nurse.

"Ok Carson do you know what school this is?" Daniel asked Carson, but Carson wasn't paying no attention to Daniel as he spoke but instead he was checking out Daniel. He had a teal shirt on, grey skinny jeans, black toms, and a hat that had spikes on it. Daniel sighed and clapped his hands to get Carson's attention.

"Hey my face is here." he motioned to his face looking annoyed. Carson blushed saying sorry and looked at Daniel now seeing he had brown eyes but they glowed to in the moonlight and his hair was black.

After Daniel explained everything to Carson he tossed Carson's cloths to him.

"Get changed I'll close the curtain so you can have privacy." with that he closed the curtains. Carson got up then got dressed thinking to himself "I hope they let me go". He walked out from behind the curtain fixing his hair.

They two boys walked out of the infirmary out into a busy hallways of the academy. Carson watched as the students walked around with backpacks talking to one another. It wasn't long until they were outside the moonlight shining brightly. The boys walked straight for a big building with boys standing around it talking to each other.

" This is the boys dorm the girls dorm is on the other side of campus." Daniel explained walking inside with Carson following close behind.   The dorm seemed pretty big to Carson and he looked around until they walked into a big room.

"This is the living room there's a Xbox 360, ps4,Xbox one, and internet the password is in each room." Daniel explained then he pointed to a door across the hallway "there's the kitchen" they both went upstairs and walked into a long hallway. Daniel walked up to a door at the middle of the hall.

"Your my room mate." Daniel explained walking inside. Carson nodded slowly and fallowed him in the room walking over to a bed with a black bed spread.

Daniel helped unpack Carson's box of his belongings so he could feel at home.

"How did they get my stuff?" Carson asked looking up at Daniel.

"Well when you were passed out and in the process of turning the one who turned you packed up some of your things bringing it here along with you." He explained walking over to his bed while Carson sat there watching.

"Change to what?" Carson asked nervously and scared at the same time.

"A vampire of course how else do you explain your pale skin,feeling numb,and being ice cold? your eyes aren't done changing though." He explained again tossing a paper ball into the waste basket.

"Vampires don't exist though.." Carson replied looking at Daniel in fright.

"Ok smartass how do you explain the two fangs in your mouth" Daniel argued looking over at Carson. "Your in denial but believe it or not your one of us now so welcome." With that Daniel stood up with his backpack leaving saying

"I'm going to my last class get some sleep." Carson got dressed into his pajamas and went to bed laying down staring up at the ceiling until darkness filled his vision as he slept.
