Chapter 3

The next morning or shall i say night Carson woke up from the sound of a loud chime filling the room waking Daniel up as well.

"God damn it... Please shut it off..." Carson groaned pulling his pillow over his head.

"No can do you need to get up for school." Daniel sat up in bed throwing a pillow at Carson. Carson got out of bed throwing on a gray sweater,black jeans and some converse. The room filled with cold air making Carson able to see his breath.

Daniel walked out of the bathroom with his backpack.

"Ready?" Carson looked at him and nodded grabbing his backpack following Daniel into the cold air. The air pierced at his skin as the wind howled. Students hung out around the school in groups talking amongst themselves. Some kids watched Carson follow Daniel giving him an uneasy feeling.

Daniel walked into a big room with a lot of chairs and tables, but in the front of the room was a big desk with books and a smart board behind it. Carson sat in the back of the room watching everyone in the class until his vision was cut off when a girl stood in front of him.

"Hello there" the girl said smiling "I'm sorry but I have to say your so cute!" Before Carson knew it the girl was sitting in his lap. A group of girls walked up to Carson and the girl sitting on his lap surrounded by her friends.

"Lisa your with the new kid?! That's so cute!" Said one of the girls as they crowded around.

Carson started to feel very uncomfortable as they surrounded him then Daniel came to save his ass from the group of girls.

"Ladies I do believe Carson here isn't interested in Lisa he looks very uncomfortable." Daniel spoke up glancing at Carson. The girls including Lisa got up leaving Carson alone.

"Thank you..." Carson said gratefully to Daniel.

"No problem" Daniel replied walking to his desk. All the students became silent as a woman walks in looking to be in her 20's with long black hair put up in a messy bun.

Carson watched as she wrote vampology on the smart board.

"OK class we will be learning about our history and our ancestors before us." The class pulled out a notebook along with a pen writing down notes until the teacher spoke up looking at Carson.

"You must be Carson the new student here at the academy, am I correct?" She asked looking over at him

"Yes ma'am.." He replied as she wrote down some more notes.

"Welcome to my class. Also welcome to the academy" she smiled and went back to the lesson but also keeping an eye on Carson. 

The rest of his classes were the same meeting teachers,getting hit on, and feeling uncomfortable. At lunch time Daniel sat with his friends while Carson got his lunch of a ham sandwich, apple, salad, soda, and a small packet of a red liquid. The cafeteria was filled with student laughter and talking as the students sat at tables eating their lunch. Carson sighed sitting at an empty table to eat his food. Carson ate all his food besides his packet of the thick red substance.

A tray got set down across from Carson. Looking up Carson noticed a boy sitting across from him.

"Hello I'm Alexander" Alexander said smiling picking up his apple to eat it.

"Hello Alexander I'm Carson..." Carson replied looking at the packet with a confused look. Alexander chuckled

"You drink it ." Carson put a corner of the packet in his mouth biting off a corner. A little bit of the liquid filled his mouth sending a sweet taste in his mouth. Alexander munched away at his apple watching Carson. 

"Have you never have that before?" He asked Carson after finishing his apple. Carson shook his head finishing the packet setting the empty packet on his tray. Alexander smiled.

"You must be new being a vampire well....you just had your first taste of blood." Carson looked at Alexander not wanting to argue so he just gave in to the idea nodding.

"Well be careful on how much blood you drink. Its like alcohol to us" Alexander explained finishing his food biting down on his own packet. After lunch Carson finished his classes and went back to the dorm to do homework, but before he made it he heard Daniel giggling and so he went to check seeing Daniel getting flirted with by some boy. Carson doesn't know why but he felt a sharp pain of sadness and jealousy fill him. He turned around running into the dorm sitting on his bed after locking the door.  

A few minutes later Carson fell asleep on Daniels bed not knowing he did. Daniel walked in after having to pick lock the door seeing Carson asleep on his bed. Chuckling Daniel picked up Carson and set him in his own bed covering him up.

"Good night.." Daniel said quietly going to bed himself. The room filled up with nothing but the quiet snores of the two boys as they slept.
