Chapter 9

Opening his eyes Carson realized he wasn't in his dorm room or at the acedmy. Panicking he struggled to break out of his prison.
"IS ANYONE THERE!!" he shouted struggling. Looking up he noticed there wasnt any light besides the small sliver of light coming from under his prison door. He sighed in defeat and let himself just dangle there from the chains holding him captive. His eyes teared up as he thought about his friends and what might happen to him.

A loud thud and some bangs sounded from the outside of the door.
"HELP ME!!" Carson cried out in hopes who ever it was outside the door was there to help him. He kept crying out to who ever was there until the door start to rattle and splinter. Carson squeezed his eyes shut as the door bursted open followed with a loud howling wind. The gust of wind crashed into Carson making it quite difficult to breathe. All of the sudden the wind died down and a pair of glowing blue eyes looked at him from the darkness.

"Please help me." Carson said to the mystery person. The shadows danced and moved as a figure started to show its self, walking towards him.
"Kaiden. Light." A female voice said. A bright flame appeared as two people stood in front of Carson one male and one female.
"Are you Carson?" The female asked looking at Carson with a stern look. He only nodded looking at them both. The boy known as Kaiden walked up grasping the chains as his hands glowed red. Feeling the heat radient from kaidens hands Carson watched as Kaiden heated up the chains to the point where they melted.

"If you want to still live I suggest we move our asses. It won't be long until more show up." Kaiden said grabbing Carson by his arm. "Hold on tight." He said as a gust of wind picked up all three students and flies them out of what looked like a old tunnel. The tunnel led straight out of a sewer pipe. After 3 hours of flying to the academy the female landed them in front of the school gates.
"So your both one of us?" He asked looking at the both of them. Kaiden looked at the female confused then looked at Carson.
"Us?" He said the confusion sounded in his voice.

Carson led them both to his friends hangout only to get tackled down by all his friends.
"HOLY SHIT WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?!" Kylie said
"Yea the whole school went into lock down the first day of your disappearance." Mikey said as he leaned on a tree his arms crossed. Confused Carson looked at his friends "H-how long have I been gone?"
"Two weeks." Replied Alex as he sat on a home made chair. Shaking in fear, reality hit Carson. He turned and looked at Kaiden and his friend. "What did they do to me?" He asked shaking in fear. Kaiden stepped forward and spoke setting his hand on Carson's shoulder.
"I'm afraid they were trying to take away your abilities." He pointed to Carson's stomach. Lifting up his shirt Carson saw a cut across his stomach along with stitches.

Alex set Carson down and looked at the wound seeing some blood seem out from the stitching. Looking at Mikey he asked.
"Mind cleaning that? " Mikey nodded and made a ball of water appear in the air. Alex held the shirt as he cleaned the blood. By the time they were done the once clean water was now red with blood.
"Ew" said Kylie as Mikey threw the water into the plants. Alex looked at Kaiden "we need to cauterize the wound."
Carson looked up at Alex confused.
"In other words we need to burn it close." He said to Carson. Kaiden formed a flame from his finger and leaned in to cauterize the cut. The whole time that was going on Carson's friends had to try and keep him quiet. Finally it was over Carson sat up looking at his now treated wound.

Kylie looked up at Kaiden and the girl.
"So your fire?" She asked Kaiden. He nodded but Kylie looked confused and said.
"How if Carson is fire as well?" Kaiden shook his head. "He has all the abillities. They just don't start unless the person with the ability touches him." Kaiden said looking at the female "Valentina would you like to show them?" She nodded and walked up to Carson setting her hand on his shoulder. At first nothing happened but her hand begin to glow leaving a glowing hand print on his shoulder.
"Its activated.." She said back up to Kaiden. Lifting his hand a gust of wind formed around his hand.
"Wow.." He said standing up his stomach still having a burning feeling from the wound.

Alex walked up along with Mikey.
"Well let's do this." Said Alex as he set his hand on on his arm while Mikey grabbed his hand. Both the boys hands glowed as they activated the abilities. Mikey stepped away with Alex "that should work." He said. Carson made a boulder form out of rocks and made water appear out of thin air. Kaiden looked at Valentina
"he is far from ready for the battle that is heading our way..." Mikey walked up to the both of them and spoke to them quietly. Carson noticed this and walked over.
"What's this battle that your speaking of?" He asked looking at them curiously. Kaiden looked at Carson
"A dark vampire will be waking up soon and it is up to us to make sure we either kill him or put him back down for another 1,000 years."
"How come the ones before us didn't kill him?" Carson asked looking at mikey.

"They were killed before the task was completed.." Mikey replied looking down at the ground.
"How do you know they died and not just run off?" Carson asked. Mikey looked up at him his dark blue eyes staring into Carson's.
"My dad was one of them.." Mikey said looking away. Carson felt a pang of sorrow as he hugged Mikey.
"I'm sorry I didn't know.." He said to the smaller vamp. The group of friends stood around talking about the plans to train them all until the sun started to show over the mountain. Everyone went to their dorms going to bed and for once in his life Carson felt determination to kill this vamp.
