Chapter 5

The next night school was cancelled due to the fact that one of the teachers went missing. Carson along with daniel and Alexander decided to go out shopping.
"Ah feel that nice breeze on your skin...it feels great!" Alexander exclaimed stretching as they entered a mall.
"Yea it does but remember no feeding off of anyone stay close." Daniel replied looking around the mall nervously. Carson chuckled and ran his fingers through his bangs. "Well aren't you a nervous wreck." He jokingly said. Daniel shot him a mean look before looking away.
"Ok ok I'm sorry Daniel I was just messing with you." Carson said giving Daniel a friendly nudge. Alexander stopped at an Apple Store dragging Carson and Daniel with him.
"Hey guys lets get some new phones I am due for a new one." Alexander said as he looked at the iPhones. The boys all bought an iPhone along with phone cases. Carson looked across the mall and saw a hot topic and at that moment he new he had to go there. Grabbing alex and Daniel by the arms he dragged them with him to the store.

Carson got a few shirts, a poster , and some pop figurines. As the boys walked home Alexander looked at his phone case with curiosity.
"Hmmm I wonder...." Alexander mumbled to himself. Carson and Daniel heard Alexander and looked at his phone case seeing that it had a plastic case along with rubber corners and a little of the back was rubber. Carson knew what he was gonna do.
"Hey! Don't do it!" He warned Alexander...too late Alexander threw the phone at a wall and it bounced back hitting him in the face. Alexander got knocked out cold.
"Well shit..." Murmured Daniel "help me carry him to my car.." Daniel grabbed Alexander's shockingly not broken phone and stuck it in his pocket before grabbing Alexander and helped Carson carry him to the car. When they arrived at the schools infirmary Carson sat by Alexander waiting for him to wake up holding his phone. A few minutes later Alexander woke up and looked at Carson.
"What happened?" He asked rubbing his head.
"Well genius you threw your phone and it didn't like you throwing it so it bounced off a wall hitting you in the face leaving you a black eye." Carson explained handing Alexander his phone "that case does do wonders. Your phone isn't even broken or cracked. I'm impressed." Carson hung out with Alexander for a while until he left going to his dorm room. Before he entered he saw a pair of glowing red eyes looking at him from the shadows over the wall. Creeped out Carson hurried inside and up to his room. The room was cold and quiet only Daniels quiet snores can be heard as Carson got dressed for bed. Carson slept good with out having nightmares. The next morning the missing teacher was replaced by a young man.
"Ok everyone settle down I know your wondering if they found Mr. McGuire and the answer is no so they are having everyone to always have someone with them and not be alone we will be having more security than usual. Now that being said turn your vamp system books to page 246 we will be reading on how a vampires body works along with strength." The sub announced before walking to the board writing down information about the chapter.

The class felt like it took ages because before Carson fell asleep the bell rang signaling the end of 3rd period. Carson walked into the lunch room and grabbed a tray of food before siting at a table with Daniel and Alexander. A girl sat with the two boys. She had short hair with bangs and her hair was red and black. Her skin was pale and she seemed like she was 5'5. She also had green eyes along with a septum piercing.
"Well hello guys and who are you?" He asked sitting down next to Alexander.
"I'm Kylie I hang out with Alexander." Kylie replied reaching out a hand to shake Carson's hand. Shaking her hand he noticed a scar on her jaw and decided not to say a word about it. While eating Carson and his friends talked about school, told jokes , and stories. The four friends walked outside The wind howled and blew leaves around.
"Seems we will be having a harsh winter..." Kylie said as she looked At the sky. Carson's phone made a chime sound as he got a notification from the school saying school will be out for 2 weeks.
"Oh nice no school for the rest of the day and 2 weeks!" He exclaimed him and his friends decided to walk over to the wall and sit in front of it. Alexander looked over at Carson.
"What happened to you that day I was attacked..." He asked Carson hoping for an answer or explanation.
"I don't know..." Carson replied looking down and sees the blue flame form around his hand. He lifted his hand to show his friends. Everyone was in awe for a while but Daniel was the first to speak.
"I read a book on that. Only our great ancestors were able to do that there were 6 of them..." He said looking at Carson then the others.
"So there will be 5 more like Carson..." Alexander said looking at Carson. Kylie spoke up "that just means we need to keep our eyes peeled for the rest of them. But for now we need to go to our dorms it's getting late." All four of the friends went back to their dorms going to bed. Carson went to sleep wondering where the others were that were just like him.
