Nayantara's POV

I was given a beautiful heavy red lehenga to change in. I wore the beautiful red blouse designed with beautiful patterns of golden threads. Chandra tied the strings from behind and the blouse was a perfect fit for me.

I took the heavy embroidered skirt and wore it. It tied perfectly around my waist.

Well, it was quite hard to handle such a heavy dress as I was not very used to it. I was scared for the heavy jewellery they would ask me to wear.

Mahadev knows how I am going to handle everything...

In a short time as I expected, Bhabhisa returned with jewellery boxes. She gave me a choker piece and the rani haar to wear which already seemed to suffocate me.

Somehow I wore them and adjusted the other jewellery pieces such as earrings, headpiece and the waist band. At last, bhabhisa tucked the dupatta on my shoulder and my head beautifully and asked me to give a look to myself in the mirror.

I did the same and realised, that I was not going to be just a daughter, just a sister anymore.

I was going to be someone else's pride, leaving everything back.

Just then maasa arrived and I felt her eyes tearing up. She applied the kohl from her eyes on her fingers and applied it back of my ear. She pulled into loose hug but I still awaited something else.

My father's presence... His blessings.

When I was just a few moments away from my departure, he was still not here to love me, to bless me for the beginning of a new phase in my life. I was missing him alot, but he didn't arrived to see his daughter.

I felt a pang in my heart thinking all of this. Am I nothing to him? Except the disgrace he called me...

"Don't worry my princess. He loves you alot."

Maasa brought me out of my thoughts, referring to my father.

If didn't want to meet, I would not mind. I love him, I love my family alot.

Suddenly, one of the attendee entered the room, exhausted as if came here running hurriedly.

"Ranisa, Pratapgarh se log dwar par aane wale hai. Maharaj ne aapko bulaya hai unke swagat ki vyavastha ke liye."

As soon she blurted out these words, my heartbeats raced as if it will come out any moment. Everyone present in my chamber started getting a little panic as they were almost there.

Maasa went out with bhabhisa and bhaisa to welcome them whereas Chandra went to the nearest balcony to watch their arrival and other rituals.

I was left alone in the room and something started disturbing my mind.

Only some moments were left....
