Days were passing quite dramatically for Adhiraj as a certain someone-Mugdha-had made it her mission to annoy and flirt with him at every chance she got. Yesterday, he was on the phone with Shivaay, updating him about Mugdha's antics and pranks. Shivaay, sounding both amused and exasperated, simply advised him to keep her out of trouble, knowing all too well how her bold personality often led her into sticky situations.
"Adi, iss ladki ko bass NGO se dur rakhna, vo maanti nahi hai meri baat," Shivaay warned.
("Adi, just keep this girl away from the NGO, she doesn't listen to me.")
Adhiraj replied calmly, "Agar use achha lagta hai toh karne de na help, hum toh hain hi yahan usse sambhalne ke liye."
("If she likes it, let her help. I'm here to keep an eye on her.")
But Shivaay's voice turned serious. "Vo NGO ka director close friend hai Ramadhir Singh ka, aur tujhe achhe se pata hai vo aadmi kaisa hai. Humara Chief Minister reh chuka hai, PM candidate hai. Agar Maa ko pata chala ki Mugdha ke connections aise aadmi se jud rahe hain toh vo gussa ho jayegi."
("The NGO's director is a close friend of Ramadhir Singh, and you know what that man is like. He's been our Chief Minister, a PM candidate. If Mom finds out that Mugdha is getting associated with people like him, she'll be furious.")
Adhiraj sighed, trying to think of a solution. "Toh kisi aur NGO mein kar legi help."
("Then she can help at a different NGO.")
Shivaay shook his head. "Use Indians ki help karni hai. That NGO helps Indian people who are in trouble or are victims of human trafficking."
