~ Jayda ~

"You did what?!" I'd just told Paris that I invited Dimitri over to my house, and as you can see, she wasn't the most thrilled about it.

"I know that it wasn't the best idea in the world, but we were having a lot of fun, and it just came out, I guess. Well, we were having fun until Jayden interrupted." I explained, rolling my eyes at the last part.

"Your brother walked in on you guys? Were you making out?" She asked, her eyes wide with shock. "Give me all of the details!"

"It wasn't making out, per se.. It was just a kiss in the ferris wheel." I said quietly, averting my eyes.

"As much as I'm gushing over you and Dimitri being together, I really don't think that this is a good idea." She confessed frankly.

"What- why?" I was surprised. What exactly wasn't a good idea? Well, maybe the whole bet thing, but that was going in my favour so far!

"I mean, he broke up with you out of nowhere for no reason. And unless I'm mistaken, he never gave you an apology or an explanation for any of that. I'm just saying that it may not be the best idea to just let him back into your life as if nothing happened for a stupid bet."

I knew that she was right. He had broken up with me for no apparent reason and never even offered me an explanation or an apology for that matter. And the bet with Marissa was stupid, yet I still agreed. But I couldn't admit it to myself that I was making a mistake. I didn't make mistakes.

"Can't you just be happy for me? Yeah, maybe Dimitri did break up with me and didn't explain, but he's there for me, and I really like him." I was also right - I did really like Dimitri, and he was there for me.

She just shrugged and dropped the subject of Dimitri.

His ears must have been burning because Dimitri appeared almost immediately. I waved and he made his way over with a "Hey."

"Hey!" I replied, not hiding my pleasure in seeing him.

He said hi to Paris and sat down with us.

"By the way, do you wanna hang out later?" I asked Dimitri, looking up at him.

"Sure, why not?"

"Alright, meet me after school."

We definitely couldn't go to my house again - that was out of the question! I wasn't sure what we'd do, but I'd think of something.

"Dae just texted me to meet him, I gotta go. Bye, girl!" Paris quickly hugged me and left, leaving me and Dimitri alone.

"So, uh, what do you wanna do later?" He asked.

"I don't know... actually, how about I come over to your place?" I twirled a strand of hair around my finger as I gazed up at him, waiting for his answer.

"My place?" He blurted out, obviously surprised that I'd asked to go over.

"Why not? You came over to my place," I paused for a second, "and I can think of a few fun things that we could do."

I saw the blush spread across his cheeks. I smirked, amusement flashing in my eyes.

"So, why don't we hang out at your place? It'll be fun, I promise." I said, leaning closer to him.

He cleared his throat and said, "Okay then, I'll pick you up later." The blush had only intensified since earlier.

"Great!" I grinned.

Soon enough, the school day ended. I was walking out with Paris and Dae when I saw Dimitri standing outside the school, waiting for me. I quickened my pace and made my way to him.
